I wasn't sure what I'd expected from the meeting Rhea's father.
Carter walked into my office precisely at two in the afternoon.
He extended a hand. I looked at it for a second before taking my seat. For some reason, I didn't feel like giving him any hope. He's lucky I chose to have a one on one conversation with him rather than put him behind bars immediately.
