I started to go further into the forest, but then I couldn't stand it and turned around. Serene walked on my heels, repeating her question of what I intended to do. When I reached the last row of trees that hid me from prying eyes, I stopped and peered. I saw only werewolves, no witches. While I was wondering what was going on, Lucas stepped forward and stopped a few feet from one of the werewolves unknown to me. "What do you want, Alfred? What is all this about?" Lucas's loud voice echoed. I tried to see where the King was, but he was nowhere to be seen.
