"No, not completely. The mate bond attracts us to our other half, but that's not everything. You have to like the person you're destined to spend forever with. If for some odd reason that a wolf is mated to someone they hate or not compatible with, they could always reject them. When both parties agree to the rejection, the mate bond is broken."
