Lucy did not know if it was the overwhelming anger when she suddenly shouted "And if I don't"
SMACK!!!
Lucy held her cheek and looked in shocked. Never in a billion years would she expect Raymond to hit her and all because of a woman.
Raymond held Sarah by the waist as the two couple looked at Lucy with contempt.
"Let's go"Raymond told Sarah and they left. Lucy could only look as they left the place. The people that taunted and humiliated her were gone.
She was alone in darkness, unsure of what to do.she got dizzy and fell to the ground, as her eyelids begin to fall, she spotted a female figure running towards her, shouting her name.
But, before she could answer,,she fell unconscious.
The Next Morning---
Lucy abruptly sat up on her bed, she held her scattered hair and closed her eyes shut.
Trying to brush the haunting past away, but couldn't. she broke down totally. Everything that happened seemed like a nightmare to her.
Lucy remembered how it all started. she was a happy girl with big dreams who lived with her parents.
But her dreams and happiness got shattered on her graduation day when they called her and told her that her parents were involved in a fatal accident and had lost their life.
She collapsed that instant and when she woke up,she found herself in the hospital.
she had tried to find out about the other party involved in the accident which took her parents life.
But unfortunately,the other party involved was one of the multi- billionaire in the country.she could do nothing.
After the burial of her parents,she became out of cash and decided to look for a job and later got it in a magazine company.
