It wasn’t him who’d spoken, however—the heroine of the made-for-TV-movie flickering on the box sighed gustily, and scorned her lover. “What the—?” A heavy layer of warmth was settling into place, and there was a gentle pressure against his ear as Ali’s serene face creased into a gentle smile.
