"Wait," said Henry as he turned onto another narrow road.
"What are you doing?" I was terrified already.
"There's someone following us." I looked back and saw a huge black car tailing us.
"What do they want?"
"I don't know."
"Henry, I'm scared." He looked at me and said nothing.
He kept accelerating. The road was empty. The faster Henry went, the faster the car behind us went too. My heart almost leaped out of my chest when someone in the car behind started shooting.
"Henry!" I screamed as I saw glass shards flying through the car.
"I need you to get the gun from the back seat."
"What?"
"Come on, Liz, we don't have time." Fear surged through my entire body.
