“Mary, we’re going to use the nurses’ lounge for a little while if that’s alright with you,” Kade said with a smile.
“Sure thing,” Mary said with a knowing smile. “Take your time. If I need any coffee between now and when you’re finished, I will get a cup from Hailey’s room the next time I check on her and her father.”
“Thanks, Mary,” Kade said with a nod before he gestured for Enzo to move down the hall with him.
