The smell of bacon filled Kyle’s nose as he woke. He had slept surprisingly well, bundled in his sleeping bag, which he had placed on a padded mat. He had given his air mattress and blankets to Delilah after she had arrived. She had insisted that it wasn’t necessary, but he felt it was the least he could do if she were willing to help him find Carrie and get her out of Blue Moon.
