The trails leading from the pack house to the outer edge were in good shape. That allowed Vivan and Feather to open the snowmobiles to full throttle for the entire trip to deliver supplies to Tiana. While they raced across the pack, they could see wolves running beside them. Several took turns along the way to ensure they had at least one escort in each patrol sector.
