All the worry Deanna had had about getting into a vehicle with three strangers vanished within seconds of locking their front door. Zed and James stood in the yard playing a rousing game of rock, paper, scissors to determine who would drive. Zed won, which led to James collapsing on the ground, having an overexaggerated, very toddler-like temper tantrum before both men burst into fits of laughter. Patrice simply rolled her eyes and sighed as Zed offered James his hand and pulled his brother to his feet. “Count your blessings that Zed won the one. I love James with every fiber of my being, but that man can’t drive worth anything,” Partice said as she smiled adoringly at James, who had opened the back door and was waiting for them. “Beb, are you telling our new friends that I can’t drive?
