The women's expressions changed as they looked at Adele while she spoke. Vivian raised an eyebrow as she tipped her head to the side. Feather frowned at her and crossed her arms over her chest. Evelyn placed her hand over her heart and gaped at Adele with confusion and worry. Seeing their reactions made Adele feel sick as she led them out the door and waited for it to close before she spoke.
