“I will, sir, but they already know. You show us how much you appreciate us all the time. That’s why we want to do more now to help you and Hailey. Just tell us what we can do, and we will,” Andy said, smiling at his boss.
“I will make sure he and Hailey tell you,” Alice said as she patted John’s arm. “Would you go back to the house and make sure that Melody doesn’t burn the kitchen down by shorting out the ovens. I saw how she baked for the party. If that was normal, and she warned you that she is stress baking, which is worse, we will be able to provide baked goods to half the city.”
“Yeah, no problem,” Andy snorted. “Melody does take requests, so if something sounds good or if Hailey wakes up and wants something specific, just let one of us know.”
