“You can count on it,” Kyle replied. “I’ll send you a pin so you know where I’m at. I’ll be waiting for you.”

Kyle let out an exasperated sigh and leaned back in the seat of his truck. He hated to sit and wait for Josey and Mindy to arrive with Josey’s truck, but he had no choice. He could not continue in his truck without almost certainly being spotted. On top of that, he had brought a couple of changes of clothing, his laptop, and a few personal items, but had not thought about bringing any food.
