I relived all the memories that I thought I left in the past. Those nightmares, screams, that fear... Everything just crawled back into me in just one moment.
I am glad he found me within the time otherwise, I would have completely lost it and behaved like the eight year old Elena who used to try to harm herself after every scary lock-up game.
I released a sigh of relief as Chase's hugged me in sleep and hugged him tightly, I will never forget this day. This day not only made me relive all those horrible memories but also made me see my mate from a different perspective.
