I was excited about this day ever since I started my business journey and Mr Smith was a very good partner of mine at every step. We not only become business partners but friends as well which is why even if I wanted to, I couldn't get mad at him today.
Although it was his responsibility to arrange a backup plan in case things didn't go as we planned but he failed in it as he had so much confidence in his sister who we all know is very moody. Especially since I rejected her proposal.
She knew how important this was for me which is why I think she backed out at the last moment. I feel like by doing this, she just took the kiddish revenge on me as she didn't give any valid reason for not coming here.
