It was starting to look like there was an upside to having your face covered in boils. I was left the hell alone.
Dr Purcell and his daughter, Kaitlin did not disturb me at all and allowed me the necessary time to heal.
It wouldn’t exactly look good if someone who had boils all over her face was busy around the clinic attending to the needs of patients.
Despite the sordid state of my face, my heart was in an even worse state.
Stephan had smelled Damon on me, I was very sure of that. The only saving grace was that the scent was not distinct so he could not place it.
Why was he that angry? Did he want me?
I could not fully understand him. The other day when he came to me in the cleaning room, I felt that we shared a genuine connection and bond.
