I stirred and looked at Vanessa who was lying on my chest, tracing patterns on it and talking.
I laid back down and sighed.
This was a very good lay indeed, I might go as far as ranking it as great but it is over now. To think that Stephan was giving this up for Rebekka… Damn.
But then, Vanessa was nowhere as special as Rebekka, that was even more of a reason why I could not let Stephan have her.
“You suspected that she meant something to me yet you sent men after her and then poisoned her?” I said in a monotone voice.
“That was before I knew she was with you,” she said. “Had I known, I never would have done that.”
