Chapter 16

Third-person P.O.V.

Girls were enjoying this ride so much. They even put the same radio station and sang together. It already passed 10 minutes since their ride started and they couldn’t stop laughing at each other. Mia and Dušica were joking around and made other girls laugh. Like they said, it was their duty to make people around them happy, and for now, they were really successful.

Dušica stopped at red light and other girls were behind her. Some slow song started playing and Dušica put her head on her hand next to the window and with other, she firmly held on the steering wheel. Everyone shut up because no one knew the song beside Dušica who started singing along while watching out through the window.

Sam got chills just by listening to Dušica’s singing. She completely turned off her radio and concentrate on that beautiful voice of an angel.

When you turn off the lights

She started driving again but didn’t stop singing. She was too concentrate on the road that she didn’t even notice all girls were just listening to her.

Emotions aren’t that hard to borrow

When love’s the word you’ve never learned

These words kept repeating in Sam’s mind at the rest of the road. Everything went back at normal when the song finished. She drove for about 10 minutes more until they came in front of big gate.

“Here we are girls,” Mia said and they all were invited.

Dušica was ready to go in but Willy come to her car and knocked on her window. She rolled her down and gave him confused yet worried expression.

“Hey Willy, what’s wrong?″

“Nothing Miss just wanted to tell you that your parents were here this morning and they asked if you can give them a call when you come home.”

“Oh, okay, thank you”

“Is everything okay?” Sam asked.

“Yeah, just Willy had something to tell me,” Dušica answered and pulled gas again.

When other girls finally went through the gate they were in awe. On both sides of the road towards her house, were greener grass then anyone has ever seen, with a lot of trees and flowers.

“Girl, welcome to my Empire,” Dušica said and she and Mia chuckled a little.

“Holy s**t!” Anna said under her breath while looking around while they drove down the driveway which seemed miles long.

“Is this your house?” Emili asked while pointing on the house and road at the left side of the main road.

“Nope, that’s house for maids and on the right side is house for bodyguards and drivers if they want to stay, and gardeners too. ″ Dušica answered and kept driving.

“Here we are,” she said while driving around big fountain in front of the house. Girls gasped when they exited their cars.

They couldn’t believe their eyes when they approached a big and modern mansion.

“Give them your keys and they will park your cars at the garage” Dušica said while giving her keys to one of the guys.

Girls did what they have been told and guys drove their cars.

Dušica smiled and said again “Come on, let’s have a tour”

She led them to the huge front door. The girls followed closely almost without breath. She smiled at them and pushed heavy doors open and what they saw take their breath away. Once again.

The first thing that greeted them was staircase. Everything was white and so pure. They went from both walls and on the other side, there was glass. In the middle, between them were one big cristal chandelier which almost sent blue color. It was shining so brightly that you could have thought you don’t even need lights there. But anyway on every other stair there were little lights which made them even more beautiful.

“Good morning Ms. Nikolić, is there anything I can do for you?” one of the maids came to them.

“Good morning to you too Charlotte, everything is fine for now, I’m just going to give a tour to these ladies,” Dušica said and pointed at girls behind her. “Anyway, you are free for now. If we need anything, I’ll call you”

“Of course,” Charlotte said and walked away.

“Bedrooms are upstairs and I’ll show it to you later, now come here, in the living room,” Dušica said and lead them straight to the living room.

Girls were still awestruck to say anything so they just followed. And once again they gasped when they come in the living room.

It was beautiful, all black and white. Furniture simply screamed comfort. There was a big TV that was attached to the wall. There also was one big glass table in front of the furniture. One wall was all glass and there also was a glass door.

Dušica walked towards the glass slide door and then push it aside telling girls to walk out which they did.

“Holy” was all that girls could say.

Dušica come behind them and smiled “You guys like it?” she asked.

Girls turned around but only Elena could answer.

“Are you kidding? This is amazing, we love it!”

On their right side was pool, not too big but not small either. In the middle of it was a bar full of drinks. Can you imagine that? Wall that was facing pool was like a mirror and they couldn’t see what is in that room. On the left side was one garden furniture. But in front of them, they could see a beautiful view of nature. They could see how big and amazing Dušica’s property is. If you go to the far end of the house you will find two pair of stairs. One leading down and other leading up.

“Where are these stairs leading?” asked Sam showing one that goes down. She was curious but also shocked at how beautiful and modern this house was.

“Well, that one leading to guest garage and gym” Dušica answered.

“Guest garage?” Emili asked confused.

“Yeah, that one is where your cars are right now. And one where I keep my care is on the second and third floor under. It’s an underground garage.”

“How many cars do you have then when you need a two-floor garage,” Anna asked again.

“She has more than 50$ million only in her car so you can see,” Mia said with a smile when all other girls had their jaws on the floor. “Close your mouths girls,” she said again and laughed.

Dušica smiled and pushed Mia away playfully “Let’s come and see,” she said and started walking downstairs.

There was a big hallway and a big door on the right side.

“That’s gym,” Dušica said simply and kept walking until they come at the end of the hall where other big doors were. She opened it and it was a guest garage with girls’ cars in it.

“How do we get to the other two garages?” asked Elena.

“Elevator” Dušica simply said and pointed at the elevator’s door at their left side.

She led them towards it and put the button. After that, the door opened and girls walked in it. It was a big elevator and they all could normally fit in. But there was something that bothered Sam.

“Um.. Where are buttons?” she asked when she noticed there are no buttons that could be pressed so the elevator could start.

Other girls saw that and they started panicking because the door has already been closed. Dušica and Mia laughed which made other glare at them.

“I don’t need any buttons,” Dušica said with a smile while leaning at the wall behind her and crossed her arms.

“What do you mean, you don’t need any buttons!? Of course, you do!” Emili panicked.

“Watch this” Dušica said and cleared her throat. “Second floor,” she said and the elevator immediately started moving.

Girls watched her in disbelief and she just laughed lightly then shook her head.

“It simply reacts to mine and my driver’s voices,” she said.

“But what happens if you were sick for example and your voice is still raspy?” Emili asked.

“Then It reacts on my touch, but that button is little camouflaged and I guess you didn’t even notice it,” she said and showed them two little buttons at their left. “Or I could only tell one of the drivers to get me the car I want. Or they could simply drive me in some of SUV or limo that are in another garage which is not part of the house.” she finished with a smile when the door of the elevator opened revealing a lot of beautiful and expressive sports cars.

“Wow” Sam breathed out.

She always loved fast cars, and her choice always would-be sports car, but she never got chance to see this much of them at the same place! Lamborghini, Ferrari, Audi, Rolls Roy’s and others. She felt like she was in heaven.

“Okay, I am so dead now,” she said while walking from car to car.

“Which one is your favorite?” Sam asked.

“They are on the first floor” Dušica replied.

“Dear God, I have never seen so many good cars in one place!” Emili said while looking around. Dušica smiled and let them enjoy.

“God, I am so going to kidna-” Anna started but at that same time Dušica half yelled. “Don’t say that!”

“Kidnap you?” Anna finished with a weird look at her face.

Everyone turned around to look at Dušica when she practically yelled because they didn’t know why she would do that. They had the same expression as Anna. Confused. That’s how they felt.

Dušica ran her hand over her face and at that moment ten men in black suits appeared from nowhere and made cycle around her, not allowing anyone to touch her.

“I told you not to say that,” she said while trying to look at Anna.

“What the -” she started but only to be stopped by one of a guy.

“Don’t you dare to talk! You threatened to our boss and now you are going to face consequences”

Anna was clearly afraid right now and other girls could not believe what they have just witnessed. Sam was surprised by this action. Even her parents didn’t have this kind of protection.

“Woah, calm down John! She is a friend, and that was a joke for god’s sake!” She tried to walk past all these guys but they didn’t let her. “Oh come on!” she groaned.

At that moment Willy came there running “What’s going on!?” he asked while starting to panic.

“Oh Willy, thank god!” Dušica said and sighed in relief “Tell your men to let me go, she was just f*****g kidding!”

“You sure?” he asked, calmed now.

“Yeah, now move” guys moved and started walking away, apologizing before they left.

Just John was still there, glaring at Anna. Dušica walked behind him and stopped when she came by his side and smacked back of his head. “Ouch, what was that for!?” John asked while rubbing his head.

“Stop glaring at her!” Dušica said with authority which made guy and girls tense as well.

“I’m... Uh sorry,” he said and looked down.

“Whatever, you were doing your job, but please next time if I say It’s okay just leave okay?” she asked and he nodded. “Good. Anyway how’s the college?” she asked again.

“It’s good for now. Thanks to you, I finally got a chance for it” he said and smiled at her.

“No problem, you know you are like a big brother to me,” she answered with a smile and playfully pushed his shoulder. “And how’s our little princess?”

“She is getting better day by day! Since she moved to your hospital she is like new. I and my parents really don’t know how to repay that to you.”

“I should visit her soon. And you have no reason to repay anything okay? Just study and finish college. Chase your dreams buddy!” she said.

“Thank you!” he said and turned around to leave them alone.

Anna and Emili couldn’t believe how caring Dušica was, other girls already knew it though. Sam’s smile grew wider while she listened to Dušica speaking to her bodyguard.

“I’m sorry about that Dušica,” Willy said.

“It’s okay, after all, they just did their job. I understand” she said and smiled at him, he smiled back and walked towards the door.

When he walked out Anna looked at Dušica in disbelief. “How the hell they came here when I said that?”

“Every room in this house is furnished with cameras. Not just a house but a big part of the garden. No one can come in or get out without us knowing that. Anyway, there is a group of guards that constantly watch them and they probably thought you were serious.” Dušica said and shrugged.

“They are watching like every room?” Elena asked.

“Don’t worry, hun, I tuned off cameras in bedrooms you are going to be at,” Dušica said and put her arm around Elena’s shoulders. “Let’s go down,” she said again and walked in the elevator followed by other girls. “First floor,” she said when doors closed and the elevator immediately started going down.

“Guys” Mia started and everyone looked at her “Did you know when Dušica was little she thought elevator is something like transforming machine-”

“Oh my god! Mia don’t embarrass me please!” Dušica said and put her hands on her face to hide her flushed cheeks.

Girls laughed at her and then Sam asked between laughs “Why would you even think that?”

Dušica peeked between her hands and sighed. “Because one people would go in and others would walk out!” she answered in a duh tone which just made girls laugh even more. “Don’t laugh! I was a little girl!” she said with a pout.

“Yeah, yeah girls don’t laugh maybe we will get transformed in someone else before we even could walk out of this elevator,” Mia said and burst out laughing.

“Ugh whatever” Dušica groaned and at that moment they stopped moving and doors opened. “Let’s go out,” she said and girls walked out still laughing.

She shook her head at disbelief and a little smile crept on her face. When she wanted to walk out someone catch her for elbow and turned her around. She frowned at first because she thought everyone has already left but when she saw Sam’s beautiful eyes look at her she relaxed, and smile immediately find a way on her face. Sam smiled showing her cute dimples and then tuck part of Dušica’s hair, that fall on her face, behind her ear. She still was holding Dušica’s hand but neither of them seemed to mind it at all. She slowly and gently caressed Dušica’s cheek and leaned forward to whisper at her ear. Dušica immediately tensed when she felt Sam so close to her. Sam’s soft hand was touching her cheek and she felt like closing her eyes and just feel her soft skin against her own. “I think it’s cute,” Sam said and Dušica shivered when she felt Sam’s hot breath against her neck.

Dušica was confused by what she heard. She had no idea what Sam was talking about.

“Huh?” she asked when blonde hair beauty pulled away.

“This transformer thing,” she said with a smile. “Cute”

“Oh, that” Dušica rolled her eyes “You still don’t know anything. There is much more embarrassing things I have said”

“I would love to hear it.”

“Well, maybe some other time. Now come, I’m going to show you my babes” Dušica said and took Sam’s hand then lead her outside the elevator.

“Wow,” Sam said when they stepped outside and she got a look of other garages.

“You like it?” Dušica asked while looking at Sam who looked like little kid in candy store.

She nodded “Wow. This is just... Wow”

Dušica couldn’t help but laugh at her. Sam sent her playful glare but smiled anyway. At that moment other girls approached them.

“I can’t decide which garage I love more” Anna commented.

“Same, I mean this one is full of Range Rover’s and motorcycle while in the other are only sports cars. I don’t know” Elena agreed.

“Come on, I want to show you my favorite” Dušica said and lead them at the far end of the garage where the whole wall was a mirror.

“By the way, why do you have a mirror here?” Emili asked.

“You’ll see now,” Dušica said and walked over it.

There was a little black place on it. She put her thumb on it and girls realized that is actually a fingerprint scanner. Dušica took a few steps back and suddenly mirror-wall started going up. Girls gasped when they saw this but they couldn’t believe what they saw inside.

“I would personally come here if I want to drive them. I don’t let anyone drive them beside me,” she said and walked to them.

“Holy” Anna started.

“s**t!” four other girls finished.

There were cars they have never even seen before! But they were in awe to even come close. They just were like frozen at that place.

“Okay then, if you just gonna stand there we should go up”

“How much they cost?” Anna suddenly asked.

“A lot, trust me,” Dušica said and walked out and the wall went down immediately after she put her feet out.

They went on the first floor and came by the pool.

“So this is why you asked if we have brought bikini” Emili commented.

“Yeah. But it’s okay if you didn’t take any, I got a lot of them which I didn’t even use, so you can pick any you like.” Dušica answered with a smile.

“We still didn’t finish the tour on this floor,” said Elena and hooked her arm with Dušica’s.

“Yeah, right. Come on then” she led them through the living room and then showed them with her thumb at other side of the house. “There are dining room and kitchen,” she said and lead them down the hallway. She stopped before first doors and said “This is the main bathroom with jacuzzi and other part of it is sauna. Even though every room has its bathroom. Here is the cinema” she said and opened doors full of beds. Wait... Beds?

“Beds?” girls asked in unison on which Dušica could only nod.

“I don’t know about you, but when I watch movies, I love to lay in bed.” she said and jumped at stomach on one of them, burring her face at pillow “And I swear, there is nothing that is more comfortable than these beds” she added when she got up.

“Anyway, if you are not a fan of this kind of cinema, that door,” she said and pointed at the door next to the big screen “Leads towards normal cinema with normal seats.” she finished with a smile.

They excited about the cinema and went to the next door.

“This is the fun room,” Dušica said and opened the door.

“Wow” girls breathed out at the same time.

This was a really big room. There were two bowling alley, with bowling balls and everything necessary for it. Also, two big pool tables were there, as well as two tables for table tennis. And at the end, there were two darts and arcade gamed next to the wall.

“Come here,” Dušica said and lead them towards the door that was next to one of bowling alley.

“I’m a gamer,” she said before opening the door.

At the far wall inside this room were the biggest TV girls have ever seen. It was from one wall to another and from floor to ceiling. In front of it were a few lazy bags and some consoles.

The whole left wall was like a big fridge. It was from glass and you could see all kind of refreshment in it. From cans of coca-cola to sprite and then some other non-alcoholic drinks. They were perfectly organized. The right wall was the same just with snacks instead of drinks. The left and right sides from both of the walls were sliding doors so you could open it without any problems.

“I’m a gamer as well, but never have I ever played in room like this” Elena said looking around in awe.

“You got a chance now, and always when you came here babe” Dušica said and kissed her cheek which made other girl giggle.

“Next room is my music room” she informed once they exited the fun room.

And just like she said, the next room was music room, full of instruments. There was one grand piano, few acoustic guitars and some electrics as well. There also was a violin and all DJ stuff with big headphones. Also, there was one computer.

“With this program, I can set music I play here to play all over the house and even outside through little hidden speakers. But also I can pick some rooms I want or don’t want music to be heard at,” she explained.

“That’s really cool,” Emili said and Dušica gave her heartwarming smile.

“Okay, then. There are only three more rooms left. One is library with my office. I guess you are not interested in seeing that” she started and girls smiled at her sheepishly which made her playfully roll her eyes with a small smile. “Then, there is one room for hairdresser and makeup artist who came when I need them. And in the end, there is room you are not allowed to go in,” she said seriously.

Girls juts nodded and smiled, but truth is, all of them wondered what is in that mysterious room.

“Let’s go upstairs so I can show you your rooms.” Dušica said “You guys should take a nap, you all look so tired. I guess Sam and Anna killed you three today on practice, didn’t they?”

“They did!” all three girls said at the same time.

“I did not!” Sam and Anna half yelled in unison which made Dušica laugh.

“Whatever girls, but you really should take a rest. I’ll wake you all up for lunch,” she said with a smile.

The girls nodded and followed her upstairs. Truth is, they couldn’t wait to sleep. It was almost noon and everything already exhausted them. Dušica showed them their rooms and then she went to take a nap herself, but not before telling one of the maids to wake her up before lunch.
