Chapter 6

Andrew’s point of view  He stands breathing hard after the interaction. The walls are soundproof so she didn’t hear him taking a shower. He glances his hands into fists standing like a statue if it weren’t for his chest going up and down with each deep breath. He lets his fists soften, dropping them to his sides. He glances left for a moment there just thinking. ‘Was she scared?’ ‘She isn’t that weak’ he chuckles. ‘It feels like a plot with the werewolf and human mate’ he scoffs at his thought ‘But there are no mates’ ‘Are you sure?’ He glance at the door she just escaped from. The wolf remains silent for thirty seconds. ‘I know as much as you do. I have told you everything that there is to know.’ ‘Where did you even learned about everything?’ The human wonders ‘I just felt it’ Andrew turns towards his closet. He walks and grabs a white shirt and black pants. He grabs his watch and walks towards the window as he wears it. He looks outside but there is no sight of her. His eyebrows furrow for a few seconds ‘Where did that woman go?’ She couldn’t get far anyway. There is no people even after three miles away from the mansion. He steps down quickly on his way to look for her. “So how long have you been working here” he hears her sweet voice speaking and he stops walking. He stops behind the wall. He looks inside to see her sitting on a chair while the maid prepares original orange juice. “Recently. I started working here around the time you came.” She was asking questions. “How long do you know him?” Curious little thing’ he smirks at how excited she seems speaking with others. With him she is just like him talking to someone he knows after many months, mostly aloof. He walks in as the maid gives her the glass of orange juice. The maid bows but he pays not attention to her. His eyes are glued to Emma. She turns her head behind her as she sees the little maid bow down to someone. Her expression seems that she is displeased at his arrival. The little maid hurries and leaves silently since they don’t pay any attention to her. She breaths a sigh as she left the master with madam alone. Why did it feel gloomy? “Did you talk to someone about my backpack. Also, someone to talk to my teachers about my absence?” She questions him. “I talked to Mathew last night. He will be coming in a while” he says as he glances at his watch. “Who wears watches today?” She mumbles but he hears her words clearly. “I do” she rolls her eyes at him and looks at him with  a tight smile. He places his finger to smooth her smile. At the touch she freezes and moves back her head. He seems shocked about his actions too. He retreats his hand “Don’t smile like that” he says while still looking at her lip. He looks up to meet her furrow eyebrows, but her eyes are clear and filled with something else. Her sapphire eyes seems to look deep into his soul. He is reminded of what he read about mates while trying to figure out what is wrong with him years back. He sits down next to her. “Can you tell me more?” She puts her delicate fingers around the cold glass, placing it on her lips and taking a sip. “Tell you what?” “About werewolf’s” she looks at him confused “Don’t you know everything already?” “I don’t know what to believe and what to don’t” she scoffs and smiles “There is a lot of bullshit to find, both true and myths.” He wait for her to continue. She sighs “Werewolf’s are” she glances around trying to find the word. She is too easy to read “a part of my imagination. A part of me.” “What to you mean?” He looks interested in her words but more interested at the sound of her voice, watching how her lips move on each word. “Werewolf’s are what I believe they are. Humans able to transform into a wolf, werewolf. They hold no powers, like lightning, but they are super strong than the average human. Super hearing, super sight. Like what you read on novels, that’s where I learned and created from. Also twilight” he tilts his head on the side “Twilight?” “It’s a movie. It doesn’t exist here, but anyways. They all go with packs, from what I know now. But there also rogues. Which aren’t always the back guys. It’s not my part choosing them to be in packs or alone. It’s the choices they made for the last three thousand years.” “How old are you?” “Sixteen” he looks at her with deep eyes “So you are a goddess” she almost spits her juice “God, no. I’m not. They made his form of moon goddess on their mind and they starts calling me that. Wishing on me” he steps closer “You can hear them?” He whispers. She looks deep into his eyes with a look he doesn’t know, close to confusion and disappointment but that it’s not it. “Most of the time yes. When they are too deep. They share a part of me in some way. Sometimes I can feel them dying too. But I can’t help them.” “Why?” He doesn’t care at the answer, but to why she has that look on her eyes. He remains silent after as she doesn’t speak more. “What about mates?” She glances at him surprised “Mates?” “Yes” “When the a soul is created, to not overwhelm the human, the soul separates into too, creating soulmates, or as you just called them, mates.” “What if the soul doesn’t separate.” “Then the human will slowly die, die in a young age. But I became really careful back then I believe.” “Are there more werewolf’s like me” “Yes, many from what I hear. Haven’t you met at least one?” She looks confused at him. “No” he replies. He hears the door knocking. He looks out of the kitchen. “That must be Mathew” she gets up quickly at his words leaving the juice on the counter standing alone, just like him. He gets up chasing while walking after her. He sees Mathew at the door that seems to have been opened by the little maid.
