“Isn't this an overreaction? I've also been pregnant before and I gave birth to my son, the former alpha, remember?” Nana said and I held her hand and patted her shoulders, but Stella jerked her hand and moved away from Nana who lost her footing in the process.
“I don't think it's an overreaction for my daughter to try to hold her man back, after all, this woman is the one responsible for my hospitalization,” her father joined in while I held onto Nana.
“Nana, are you good?” I shook her and she nodded.
“It's okay.”
“Daddy, you're here,” Stella rushed to her father's side and whined as she held his hand, “you should still be resting.”
“I know but there is no one to defend you, so I couldn't remain seated while this was happening,” he said and pulled her in a hug.
