Claire POV ~
It’s been twenty minutes since the school closed and that was no sign of dad anywhere. That’s a first because him or mom actually come as exactly two o clock to come pick me up. I decided to give him a call.
“Hello dad. Where are you? Or have you forgotten that you are supposed to pick me up? School has closed since twenty minutes ago”. I murmured into the phone as soon as he picked it up.
“O sweetheart! Am so sorry, an emergency meeting came up and it skipped my mind. Am so sorry. Let me call the driver to come and pick you up.”. Dad kept on apologizing for not being able to come.
“Dad it’s fine. I will just get a ride with one of my friends. No worries”. I replied him.
