Claire POV~
When it is time for lunch, Alissa invited me to seat with them for lunch but I declined. I don’t want to be the subject of conversation in the cafeteria today.
“Are you sure you don’t want to seat with us for lunch. I know that the rest will not mind.” Alissa stated.
“Yeah that’s right Claire! Come and join us.” Ivory imputed.
“Thank you guys but maybe next time. I have a book I need to return to the library.” I came up with the excuse. The truth is, I don’t want to over do things and make people think I am actually a social climber. Moreover, I don’t think I want to face Xander after yesterday incident.
