Chapter 7: Haylee’s Party

Haylee

Addie and I went getting ready for my party in her room, I did her make up for her, did mine, we both did our hair. Avery went home to get ready then he was coming back, Ian already got ready and was probably downstairs playing the game.

We were sitting on her bed talking, before we got up and finished getting ready. I put my dress on it was a pink, strapless dress that was was little longer then my usual dresses were but still was above the knees. Addie put her on, hers was a black dress with spaghetti straps, was a short cut at the bottom. It was beautiful.

We both looked her full length mirror.

“Damn girl, you look incredible. I don’t understand why you always hide your body, I am glad your coming out of your comfort zone, because you look hot.” I said to her.

“Thanks, I don’t feel that that way tho. I wish I had your body.” She said to me.

“Excuse me, but your body is hot too so shut it.” I said to her.

We put our heels on, grabbed our bags and then headed down stairs. When we walked down, the guys didn’t take their faces off the screen. That’s when I cleared my throat, they both looked over at us and their eyes grew wide. Ian turned the game off, and walked over to me.

“Damn.” He said walking up to me, he went in for a kiss but instead went to my ear.

“Why don’t we just skip this party and go somewhere and make it special for you.” He whispers.

“Shut up.” I said to him smacking his arm.

We took some pictures of all of us before heading out. We got into Ian’s car, and started heading out to Maddi’s house.

We arrived and there was already so many people, I got even more excited.

We all walked in, Ian and myself walk to go get a drink, he grabs me one and hands it to me. I grab his hand and start walking around, mingling. We were having a fun time already, I felt Ian behind down ask me if I wanted to dance. I of course agreed. We walked over where everyone was dancing. He grabbed my hips and we started going with the beat, I never knew he was such a good dancer. I have never really seen him danced before, or I have just never paid attention when we have been at parties together. We were dancing for what seemed like forever. I could tell it was turning him on when I turned around and had my back again them. I grabbed his arm and we started walking away. Some of his buddies stopped him, he stopped to talked to them. While still holding my hand,

“So I heard you two are a thing now?” One them asked.

I was prepared for him to tell them no, because he didn’t wanna us to be a thing til after summer.

“Yep, we are together now, actually.” He said to them.

I was actually shocked he actually said that to them. A smile grew wide on my face.

“Well Haylee you better be careful with this one,” they said to me as they walked away laughing after giving Ian an high five.

“Did you really just tell those guys we were together?” I asked him.

“Yes, because I want every guy here to know, you’re my girl, even tho it isn’t official, I don’t want anyone trying to take you home, because your going home with me tonight.” He said to me. I reached up and kissed him. That’s when I saw Maddi, and told him I would be right back. I went over to Maddi, and thanked her for throwing me this party. That’s when I also say Addie and we all got another drink and headed outside to see our friends.

Addison

I have already have three cups of this alcoholic punch mix, it was really good. I told them I was going inside to get another, I would be back. When I walked through the kitchen that’s when I saw my boyfriend flirting with another girl who I didn’t even recognize. I walked up to him and as he seen me he turned to me,

“Hey babe, you having fun?” He said to me.

“I was til now..you were flirting with her..” I said to him.

“No it not what it looks like I swear,” he said to me.

“No I heard you, you were flirting with her..get the h*** away from me.” I walked to grab another drink, then started walking away I was kinda of upset. He chased me down,

“Addie, it’s not like that.” He said to me stopping me from walking away.

“I wouldn’t give it to you so you just go try and get it from someone else?” I said to him.

“No it’s not about s*x, Addie.”

“Then what is it? Why were your flirting with another girl while your with me? Why are you even with me? You know what don’t answer that..why don’t you just leave.” I said to him.

“I am not leaving this party, one it not your house to tell me to leave, and two I’m not leaving you here dressed like that.” He said to me.

“Leave this party now, or I’m getting Ian.” I said to him.

“Cmon babe, let’s just forget about this.”

“I will forget about this…tonight if you leave right now, or I’m getting Ian and telling him whats been going on..” I said to him getting more mad.

“Addie..”

“If you don’t walk away right now, you’re gonna regret it.” I said.

That’s when he turned around and I watched as he walked to the front door. I felt a tear fall down my face. I wipe it away, got back to drinking and having fun with my friends. I wasn’t gonna let me bother me tonight.

Ian

I was looking around for Haylee, that’s when I seen Addie, sitting on the chair looking upset. I walked over to her and sat in the chair next to her,

“What’s wrong? Are you not having fun?” I asked her.

“Oh no I am, I am just drunk..” she said to me.

“I am not used to seeing my little sister drunk. But are you sure nothing is bothering you?” I asked again.

She nodded, as I was getting up, I seen some tears fall outta her eyes.

“That’s it!” I said to her as I grabbed her arm and took her out front.

“Neither of us are going back in til you tell me what’s wrong, Addie!!” I said kind of yelling at her.

“No I don’t wanna ruin your night, or Haylee night, it’s her birthday. I just want you guys to have fun.” She said.

“I ain’t gonna have fun knowing my sister is crying at a party..” I said to her.

That’s when Haylee came running out to us.

“What’s going on?” She said.

“Don’t worry about, Haylee!!” She said to her.

“Why are you upset?” She said back looking at her then looking at me.

“That’s what I’m trying to figure out..” I said.

That’s when Haylee started giving Addie a weird look like she knows what could be wrong.

“Addie, where’s Avery??” She asked.

She didn’t answer her.

“I gonna go find him..” I said starting to walk away before I could Addie said something..

“You’re not gonna find him!!”

“Why?” I asked.

“He left..”

“What did he do now, Addie..” Haylee said to her..

“What do you mean, what did he do now? Why did he do before?” I said confused and started getting angry.

“I don’t wanna talk about it right now..” She said.

“You are gonna tell me or we are leaving..” I said to her.

“I caught him flirting with another girl when I went to go get another drink. I told him to leave or I was going to get you and tell you everything..”

“What the f***!!” I said wanting to kick his a**.

“Is this about what happen earlier?” Haylee asked her.

“What happen earlier??” I asked them both.

“Addie you need to tell him or I will..”

That’s when she proceeded to tell me what’s been going on the last two days.

“I am going to kill him!” I said out loud.

“Ian no, let’s just forget about it right now, this why I didn’t wanna tell you anything. Please let’s just go back to the party!!” Addie said to me.

“Cmon, babe, shes right we should go back to the party. Theres nothing you can do right now cause you don’t know where he is. Plus do you really wanna leave me here with all these guys!!” She said to me.

“You trying to make me more mad then I already am?? You think if I was leaving to go kick his a** I would leave you here alone?” I said to her.

“Well it’s my party and I ain’t leaving..so that’s means you’re just gonna have to come back to the party then..” she said.

“You don’t think I can just pick you up and carry you!?” I gave her a serious look.

“IAN!! This is my party, my birthday!! She did handle it without causing anything, she’s a big girl, she’s not little girl anymore. So you got two choices you can leave, try and find him, while Addie and I go back to the party without you. Or you can let it go for tonight, and is three go back to the party and have fun. Choice is yours..”

“I will forget it about it tonight, only if Addie does to and has some fun.” I answered.

“I will, Ian. To be honest I just wanna go drink, and forget about him.” She answered.

We all headed back inside and all three of us went right for drinks.

“Cmon Addie let’s go dance.” Haylee said to Addie.

They went and danced, I was watching them. I seen a smile come across Addies face. I guess, I can find away to not think about it tonight. I stood there and just watched how Haylee stood there and moved her beautiful body. I have to think of away to make Haylee and I to have a special night. I think I could come up with something, I looked at her again. I can’t believe this girl is changing me, making me think of away to have a special night..what is happened to me? Do I like it? I don’t know but I do know I really like Haylee.

That’s when one of my buddies came up to me and we started bulls***ting, I only looked about for like two minutes. When I looked back, I seen a guy putting his Hands on Haylee’s waist. That’s l when I walked over, as I did I seen her remove his hands. I went up to him,

“I will give you a warning..keep your hands off my girl.” I said to him.

He put his hands in the air and started looking at my sister.

“Keep your hands off her too.” I added.

“You just think you can calm everyone here??” He said to me.

“I ain’t clamming her, she’s my sister and I’ll kick your a*s over both of them.” I said to him.

I don’t even know this guy, I have never seen him before.

“Well maybe they shouldn’t wear less skanky outfits, if you don’t want them to be touch, because by the looks for them both, they are wanting something. Especially your girlfriend, she looks like she wants something more then you.” He said as he laugh.

That’s when I went up and punched him. He started throwing hands back. His friends grabbed him and mine grabbed me.

“I think we should just go, Ian..” addie said.

That’s when I started walking away, Addie and Haylee came after me.

We walked to the car,

“You know, Ian..I’m not leaving..this is my party..!!” She said to me.

“Well I am I don’t wanna be here anymore and clearly neither does Addie so let go.” I said to her.

She didn’t move.

“Ian, like I said I’m not leaving. You guys can go.” She said to me.

“Why!? SO YOU CAN HAVE MORE GUYS BE ALL OVER YOU?!?”

“No I can take myself, up until a week ago, I didn’t have you around. I went to parties and took care of myself, so no I am not leaving.” She said to me. She started walking back towards the party.

“YOU KNOW WHAT FINE, HAYLEE YOU DI WHATEVER THE HE** YOU WANT!!!” I said slamming my door, I drove away.

“Can you please calm down?!? I would like to get home in one piece, Ian!” Addie said to me.

I just ignored her.

“You know you don’t need to pi**ed off at me? You the one that started that fight!? Haylee had it handled you didn’t need to start anything with that guy!!” She said.

“Excuse me?! He had his hands on Haylee, I am not gonna sit back and let him do that.” I said to her.

“Well you didn’t need to punch him, you could of just walked away..”

“I can’t just walk away you know that’s not me. He was disrespecting you and Haylee.”

“You know being in a relationship, buying jewelry, buying girl stuff for a girl that your trying to be in a relationship with, isn’t you either but here we are..if you can do all that then why can stop violence! I wanna tell you right now, Haylee not a big fan of violence, you keep doing it, she’s just gonna leave..”

“I think she just did..” I replied.

“Why? Because she didn’t wanna leave her party? It’s her party, it’s her senior year, Ian! A few weeks it all gonna be over. I doubt she left yet, but you need to be careful, because she doesn’t take people bulls*** every long and she keeps to pick guys that are A****** so don’t wanna be one of them even tho I know you are one of them!!!” She said to me.

We arrived home, I didn’t talk to my sister the rest of the way. She got out of the car, and literally started crying when she went into the house. I walked in, and my mom is looking at me like I did something wrong. I slammed the the door.

“What is going on?” She asked me.

“Why don’t you asked your daughter since apparently I’m not allowed to do anything.” I said to her with a attitude.

My mom walked up the stairs, and was knocking on my sisters door. I walked up after she had already walked it. I went up to the door listening.

She told her all the happen with Avery then me, then why we left the party.

“Mom I might of lost my bestfriend because of him. She was so mad, and she didn’t look happy with me either.”

“This is why I didn’t want him to do this with her. He’s an a******!!!”

“I hate this.”

After I heard her say all those things, I just decided to just walk to my room. I laid in bed pissed at everything…Avery, Addie, and Haylee.

I shouldn’t be doing this. I shouldn’t try to be in a relationship, it too much freaking drama. It’s not worth it. I looked in the corner at Haylee’s stuff then look back at the ceiling. Yup maybe this isn’t a good idea.

I pulled my phone out..

Me: Haylee I know your pi**** at me but Addie needs you.

Put my phone on the night stand and just kicks my shoes off and just fell asleep.

Haylee

I was so drunk after fighting with Ian outside I came back in and just drank..a lot. Shots after shots. Maddi and I were dancing, there’s was just so much going on. That’s when I fell and hit my head.

“Ouch” I said out loud.

I got up, and I just felt like crying. It supposed to be my birthday celebration and I’m here drunk without my bestfriend and my..I can’t say boyfriend..but whatever he is. I decided to take a seat and just take a breather. I took my phone out to see if Ian had called me and sure enough I had a text from him,

Ian:Haylee I know your pi**** at me but Addie needs you.

That’s when I realized I had to leave but I had no way. I didn’t really wanna call Ian to come get me. Addie is too upset and probably mad at me, I couldn’t call my parents or they would make me go home. The first person to came to my mind would be a long shot but it was worth a try, I went outside so I could make the phone call. It rang a couple times..

“Hey is there anyway you can come get me I’m at the party,” I asked.

“Yes I’ll be there in a few..” the person Said.

“Thank you, please don’t tell liam your coming to get me, please.” I said back.

“It’s our little secret” the person said back
