Chapter 11; Summers over.

We pulled up in the drive way, it was so nice to be home it was almost 9 am. We got all our luggage out of the car, and into the house.
“We can unpack all this later. I need my bed.” My mom said.
My mom and dad headed up stairs, as my sister walked into the kitchen. I decided I was gonna go up to my room. As I got in my room and decided to call Addie.
“Hello”
“I’m back home!!”
“Yay, omg”
“You coming over!?!”
“Uh I don’t know if I want to..why don’t you come over..”
“He’s not here, Hayles. He left for College already.”
“ Ok”
I got up and got dressed in one of my new outfits I got in Paris. Yes Paris, this was the best vacation ever. I grabbed my keys, and got in my car to drive over to Addies. When I got there, I went up to her room.
“Ahhh!!!” She screams
“I am so happy your back. I missed you.”
“I missed you too.” I said.
“So you wanna sharing anything you haven’t you told me already about you trip?”
“Yes actually. I been eager to tell you but I wanted to wait to come home to tell you.
“And that is?” She asked me.
“I kinda met someone.”
“Wait I’m confused you were in Paris and you met someone?”
“Yes but he’s American and was just visiting to.”
“Omg, crazy.”
“That’s not the crazy part, he goes to NYU also.”
“No way how crazy is that?” “He’s not just saying that so he can stalk you right?” she added.
“No not at all, he brought it up first. He didn’t even know I was attending either and this is his sophomore year of college.”
“Now that’s crazy. Tell me about him!”
“His name is Nick Kohls”
“That’s weird it sounds like Nicole. That’s kinda cool.”
“Yeah his mom name is Nicole, he was kinda name after her. But he’s a picture of us.”
“Awe he’s cute.”
We sat and caught Up.
“You you ready to leave for school tomorrow ?” I asked her.
“No I am nervous.”
“We will be fine.”
“Wanna go shopping? I need pick up some last minute things?” I asked her.
“Yes let’s go.”
We went shopping to Target, I need to pick up somethings for my dorm room. It’s sucks I ain’t sharing a dorm with Addie cause that would be fun. But the girl, I am sharing with her name is Brooke. When I founded out her name I looked her up on social media and found hr. I started to get know her, and we have pick our stuff we’re each contribute to the dorm. The dorm has a small kitchen, with a little living room. We have our own space with separate bedroom, and a bathroom. It’s like a mini apartment. I had Addie check our mail while we were gone, and put it in our house. Anytime we got letters about school she would call me and read me mine or send a picture of it.
“Ok I think that’s everything. You wanna go to lunch?” I asked her.
“Yes I’m starving.” She replied.
We went to go get pizza.We sat down and started eating.
“So when you gonna tell what exactly happened to me and my brother? You kept putting it off..he won’t tell me either.” She asked me.
“I don’t know if I wanna talk about it.”
“Haylee I understand by I am your bestfriend, whatever happened I’m still here for you. Don’t think you can’t tell me because he’s my brother.
“Ok fine.”
“The night of graduation, remember I told you we were just hangin out and ate pizza?” I asked
“Yes?”
“Well there was more the story.”
I told her why exactly happen that night, besides the details of s*x, I just told her we slept together. Then told her about the next morning before he left.
“Well then, we talked on the phone every day til I went on my trip. We texted more then talking on the phone at that point. Well after 2 weeks after he left, he just stopped talking to me, wouldn’t text me back or answer my calls, nothing. I haven’t heard from him since.” I said to him.
“So he basically did what he promised he wouldn’t do.”
“Yup.”
“What a*s, well least we will be away at college and you won’t have to worry bout him.” She said to me.
“Thank god, I don’t wanna hear his excuses, his probably lies, none of it. I’m ready for school, new beginning, new people.” She said to me.
Its crazy to me, how someone can just make up all these things to get them in bed, and just vanish out of their life. Next thing I know my phone beeped, I look at my phone and smiled.
Nick: Hey there gorgeous, did you make home okay?
Haylee: sure did Handsome. What’s you up to?
Nick: packing up heading to school. I have a new roommate I guess this year and I don’t know who it, he’s a transfer this year, so I’m nervous..
Haylee: it will be ok, just don’t let him know your nervous, and just be kind guy you are :) I’m sure it will be fine.
Nick: I’m sure. When are you getting here?? I miss you and can’t wait to see you and meet your friend!!
Haylee: tomorrow you will see us. I can’t wait and I seriously miss you too.
Nice: I am gonna start driving soon I’ll talk to you later.
I smiled big I couldn’t believe I found a nice guy all the way in Paris, and we are going to the same school, what are the olds. I hope this turns in to more then what it is. I couldn’t stop smiling after that.
I went home to unpack and then pack again. We got the cars loaded up so we could just head off in the morning. Mine and Addies family are kinda traveling together.
My dad is taking his truck, with a bunch our stuff in it, and Addies dad is riding with him. Our moms are driving Addies car, then Addie is riding with me in my car. It going to going to be a long car ride, 7 plus hours. We were gonna make the most of it.
It was was getting late, we were all pack and ready to leave in the morning.
I took a shower then headed to bed. I couldn’t be more excited.
Next morning we got up bright and early, it’s like 6 am, we got loaded up in the cars we were going in and headed to Addies house. Everyone got the cars they were supposed to. We stopped for star bucks and Addie picked some good tunes. We were on our way to new beginning and a new life. NYU here we come.
