Chapter 16: A good and day day.

Addie.
I started going to the gym, every other day. After mine and Haylee little walk and talk last night, I still couldn’t fall asleep. I was up most of the night. So I felt pretty exhausted, but I am still here, working out. My dad called me after the walk also to tell me that Ian and I need to come home this weekend. He sounded upset which worries me, I feel like if it was bad news he would told me over the phone. I started running on the treadmill and got my head phones in, and I’m just zoning out. I started noticing in front of me was my brother, with him Was Nick, Ashton and Blake. I stared at Blake, he been texting me every day but today he hasn’t texted me once, I mean it only 2 in the afternoon, but why hasn’t he yet. Another weird thing is I see Nick and Ian together.. I closed my eyes and just focused on my run and not those guys. I only had them shut for a few minutes, when I opened them I seen that Blake had disappeared. That’s when I hear a voice behind me.
“ I love a view with my workout!”
I turned my head and it’s random guy I don’t know.
“Good for you.” I said back rolling my eyes.
The guy never moved away, it was started to scare me.
“Can I help you?” I asked him getting annoyed.
“Yes you can, after you get off that treadmill, you can help me in the locker room.” He said still staring me down. I picked up my phone and dialed Ian number. I looked over and seen he answered it.
“Get away from me” I said. I am trying to work out”
“You’re done for now,” as he grabs my wrist.
“Let go of me.”
That’s when Ian walked up and pushed him. I turned my treadmill off.
“Bro what’s your problem.” He said to Ian.
“She told you to get away from her, so get.”
“Oh what are you her boyfriend..?”
“No im her brother, now back off before I show you what I do when someone messes with my sister,”
That’s when Blake walked over, sees me upset. Walk over to me, grabs my hand.
That when a man in the gym uniform walks over.
“Do we have a problem here?” He says.
“Yes, this perv was harassing her.” Ian said to the man.
“Is that true?” He turns to me.
I nodded.
“Sir we are gonna have to ask you to leave.”
“Just wait a****** this isn’t over..” he said to Ian as he walked away.
I took a deep breath,
“You ok?” Ian asked me.
“Yeah..I think.”
“Since when do you come to the gym.” He asked me.
“I have been for a week, like every other day. But I’m over my workout today after that, I think I’m gonna change and just go back to my dorm. I’m not in the mood after that.”
“I’ll walk you,” Blake said to me.
“No you don’t have to.” I replied.
“You’re right I don’t have to, but I want to.” He said.
I smiled as I walked away to the locker room. I changed my clothes. When I looked in the mirror, I had tears falling down my face. Somehow I just always have the worse luck. Not with just boyfriends, but with people in general. The only person I have trusted in my life that wasn’t family was Haylee. All my life I been picked on, treated poorly, as I gotten older, feel like it’s gotten worse. Men see me for my body not my personality, they see me as Ian’s annoying sister with a rockin body, or Haylee’s little puppy dog. I just want someone appreciate me for me. I am scared with Blake cause I like him but I don’t wanna end up hurt again. I wiped my tears away, and grabbed my bag and walked out.
“You ready?” He said to me.
I nodded, we started walking out the gym. I barley talked to him the whole way to my dorm. When we reached my dorm, he stopped and asked,
“You ok? Don’t let guys like that get to you. Some guys are just pigs, I just wanna tell you not all guys are like that.” He said as he lift my chin with my hand.
I looked at him with a frown, “I been dealing with that kind of s*** my whole life. Guys only wanting me for s*x, but find me annoying and want nothing to do with me.”
“You know shouldnt have to deal with that, like I said guys are pigs but no all guys are all like that. You are beautiful, and funny. Fun to be around for sure. Any guy would be lucky to have you.” He said smiling.
“Any guy, huh?” I said smiling at him.
“Yes any guy, but I do know of one guy that does have a thing for you, and would be proud to call you his.” He said smiling at me.
“And who would that be?”
Instead of him saying anything, he reached down and connected our lips together. He was an such a good kisser. He cups his hands around my face, I wrapped my arms around him. It felt like it was magical. He pulled apart from me,
“I will treat you like a queen, the way a woman is deserved to be treated, Addie.”
I had tears in my eyes, but smiling.
“Do you wanna be with me?” He asked me.
“Yes but I wanna talk to you first.”
He looked at me confused. I opened the door and invited him in. We sat one the couch.
“I wanna be honest with you before we decided to be a thing.”
“Ok? What is it?”
“I’m a virgin, I plan on staying that way til I’m ready, not when some guy is ready.”
“And you think that’s gonna stop me from wanting to be in a relationship with you?” He said, looking at me with a confused look.
“Well it’s has caused problems with my relationships in the past. My ex cheated on me, it was just kissing but who knows what would of happened if I didn’t catch them. But anyways he cheated on me cause he was mad I would give it up. He was actually my crush for many years, he was also my brothers bestfriend.”
“I am not a cheater, I am not the type of guy to make you do anything your not ready for. I’m actually a good guy believe it or not. When I’m with a girl, no other girl matters to me, just the girl that’s mine.” He said to me as he put his forehead to mine.
“Yeah that’s what Nick told me.” I said with a smile before kissing him.
As we pulled apart, he looked at me.
“So it’s settled, you are mine, Addie.” He said.
“Yes.”
“Do you wanna go back to the gym with me finish your work out?”
I smiled, “yeah, since I got my boyfriend there to protect me.”
“Damn straight.” He said smiling getting up and grabbing my hand.
We walked back to the gym, he was holding my hand when we walked back in. He gave me a kiss before I walked back into the locker room.

As Blake started walking away from the locker rooms, Ian is working out and seen the whole thing. He gets up and walks over to Blake.
“So you and my sister are a thing now?”
“Yeah, I thought you were cool with it?”
“I am but just giving you another warning. Don’t hurt her, don’t do anything she’s not ready for.”
“Listen man, we talked she told me everything. I am not gonna pressure her, i ain’t gonna do anything til she’s ready. I’m not that guy. I won’t cheat on her, I’m not her ex. Ok?”
“Ok good.”
“Then congrats bro, my sister deserves a good guy for her.”
“She does. I agree.”

I walked out of the locker room, and got back on the treadmill, I put my headphones back in my ear. My phone beeps before I started it up.
Blake: Don’t worry, I got an eye on you. Have a good work out, baby!
I looked up and saw Blake smiling at me, before he walked away.
When I was done with my work out, I went to the locker room to change. I took a quick shower, and got dressed. I planned out going shopping with Haylee, and Brooke afterwards. When I got dressed, I walked out of the locker room, and Blake was walking out of the men’s at the same time.
He grabbed my hand and we walked out together. He walked me to Haylee’s door since that’s where I was meeting her.
“Maybe we can meet up for dinner later?” He said to me,
“Yes. Our first date?”
“Yes, I’ll text you later. Have fun shopping.”
He reached down to kiss me, when Haylee had opened her door.
“Well, my bad.” She said laughing as she closed the door.
I laughed. “See you later.” He said to me.
I smiled before walking into Haylee and Brookes dorm.
Haylee gave that look, “He asked me out..” I said to her.
“Omg!! Awe! He better know not to f*** this up because I will f*** him up.”
“I had a conversion with him before I agreed. We have a date later.”
“Good thing we’re going shopping, we can pick you out a new outfit.” Brooke said.
I smiled. We headed out the door to go shopping.
We spent hours shopping around, I hope Blake doesn’t think I ditched him. I got some cute new outfits. We were walking up to the dorms when we ran into the guy from the gym and his few buddies.
“Well well well, look who we got here. The runner without her bodyguard.” He said to me.
“What is he talking about, Addie?” Brooke said to me.
“Addie your name huh?”
I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and dialed Blake’s number. But one of his friends grabbed it out of my hand and smashed my phone.
“Nice try, princess.” He said to me.
“I told your brother, this wasn’t over and guess what..with you standing in front of me..the game is back on.”
“Who are you?”
“Let’s just call me Kyle, ok?”
“Now, I am ready to see that nice body undressed.” He said to me.
He got super close to me, that’s when I try to scream but he covered my mouth. I started to cry. I couldn’t move. That’s when Haylee punched him right in the face, he moved a little bit still had hold of me, I bit his hand and he backed out. Haylee had her phone in the hand calling someone. The one friend had Brooke in his arms. The other one was trying to get Haylee’s phone out of her hand, but by time he got it, she gave the person on the phone enough info. He smashed Haylee’s phone into the ground.
“You s***** b***h,” he said to me as he grabbed me again.
He told me if I did anything again that he would hurt me.
“Let’s go.” He friend said. That’s when Ian and Nick showed up.
Ian punched “kyle” and Nick went after the guy that had Haylee. Blake and Ashton showed up and started helping. I was in tears. Blake ran over to me and grabbed me!
“I better never see you have your hands on these girls again or I’ll hurt you even more next time.” Ian said to them.
He kicked Kyle before walking over to Haylee to make sure she was alright. He saw the smashed phones on the ground.
“Who’s phones are those?” Blake asked.
“They are Addie and Haylee’s. Can tell by the phone cases.” Ian replied.
“Cmon let’s go to mine and Blake’s dorm.” Ashton said. Since theirs was the closest one.
When we got in the dorms, us girls sat one th couch.
“I don’t even have a phone..anymore, I am gonna be scared to walk to classes by myself.” I said.
“You won’t have to worry about that.” Ian said as he pulled out his phone and called someone.
He walked in the other room while he was on the phone.
“Does anyone know who that guy is?” Brooke asked.
“Kevin, and his two buddies Neil, and Richard.” Ashton said.
“You didn’t say anything at the gym!” Blake said to him.
“I didn’t see how was messing with her.”
That’s when Ian walked back,
“Dad is sending me money to get your a new phone tomorrow.”
“Well tomorrow I am going to the dean since I know their names.”
“We will go with you, Addie.” Haylee said.
“Can I use your phone Ian?” I asked him.
He handed me the phone. I walked into Blake’s room, and called my dad back.
“Dad?”
“Are you ok? Ian told me what happen.”
I started to cry.
“I wanna come home”
“Addison what about school? You need to find out who they are and go to the dean! I understand your scared.”
“I don’t feel safe.”
“Addison, take a deep breath, try go about your day tomorrow. If you don’t think you can handle it, I will let you come home. You know what try for the week.”
“Ok dad, I can try..love you.”
I walked out of Blake’s room.
“Do you need to walk to your dorm or your staying here?” Ian said.
I looked at Blake then looked at Ian. “If it ok with Blake I wanna stay here, my roommate isn’t there, I don’t wanna be alone.”
“It’s ok with me,” he said walking up to hug me. Everyone pretty much left. Ashton went to his room. Blake and I went to his room and we laid down. He cuddled with me, I was scared what was gonna happen tomorrow. I started to cry, and Blake comfort me. I cried until I fell asleep.
I woke up out of a dead asleep, I had a nightmare and forgot where I was for a second.
It was of Kevin..Kyle whatever his name was got away with what he was gonna do with me last night, he r**e me.
I looked at Blake’s phone to see what time it was..
It 2 am! Blake was still asleep, I cuddled up next to him and tried to go back to sleep. It took me a minute but I did drifted off to sleep.
Next day. Blake walked me back to my dorm so I could change, Haylee, Brook and I went to the dean. Blake, Ian and Ashton came with us incase they needed to say something.
“We have camera around campus. So we can pull video proof up, I’m pretty sure the gym was cameras too. We will look into this. If your stories match up to the camera proof, we will take action.” He said to us.
“Thank you.” I replied.
We walked out, I was still terrified. What if they don’t do anything about it. What if Kevin does worse because I turned him in. So many this were going through my head. If there is one thing, If I have live in fear going to school here, I might as well just drop out of this college and go home.
I just have knots in my stomach and feel like throwing up. This isn’t good. Just when I felt like this place was a fresh start for me and things were going good for me once. Ian and I went to the phone place to get me a new phone. Luckily they have our services out here. Ian was on the phone with my dad trying get it all set up. The guy hands me my new iPhone. Ian then made another call before leaving, he was buying another phone, probably for Haylee. He had called her mom to get her plan info. I heard her offer Ian money to buy the phone and he declined the money. We went back to campus. We meant up with the g**g for lunch in the cafeteria,
“Here babe.” Ian said to Haylee as he hands her a new phone.
“Whose phone is this?” She asked.
“Yours, I bought you a new phone. It already on your parents plan.”
“You bought it? Babe that’s too much. My parents will pay you back.”
“Yes I know, your mom already tried to offer and I said no, just take the phone.”
“Thank you.”
“Thanks to all you guys for saving us last night.” I said to the guys.
