I continued to walk down the streets of Ash wood thinking about all the insults that Elara will throw at me

Finally, l reached the house which was deep in the Slums. My house is a studio apartment with me always sleeping on the floor even with all the winter and summer.

I didn't realize that Elara coupled with my step parents were already at the door awaiting my arrival. I reached there and was flabbergasted because of what l received.

Elara slapped me twice which made me to burst into tears.I asked her which led to her raising her hands at me and what l got changed my whole Destiny.

"I slapped you because you did not do the dishes nor did you wash any of my clothes. You want me to be dressing in rugs like you. Anyways, that's by the bush"Elara answered.

"You are so lucky because l have a beautiful news for you. Someone is looking for a concubine and you have to go plead with him to accept you "Elara 's mother snappily injected.

"What Marriage proposal are you talking about???"l asked while trying to be respectful.

"Old Bruce is and he is actually very rich "Elara answered while laughing aloud.

I was stunned and knew this moment that this was the greatest level of wickedness. I decided to answer them knowing fully well the consequences of my soon to be action.
