I told you brother that Jardin is ours, haha!!!!, Wepwawet was walking on the huge cobblestones in their cave. How come you are betting on Hekanefer, he is a superhuman, so he won’t die unless we let him die, right?
Hmm…you have a point there? But how come you voted for the prince than the general?, Anubis added still looking at his stone tabs like checking and crossing people out in bulk numbers. Wars are very ugly but we get our quotas with their useless misunderstandings. Hmmm…
Yes, I did vote for the prince but since I knew that he is a superhuman, the general just needed to have a little push to become the hero that he truly is. So now he is with us, wouldn’t that be so exciting?, Wetwawet dancing while walking down the cobblestones to check on his brother’s stone tabs on the numerous souls he need to escort back there....
Hmmm….silly wars, silly people, Anubis said coldly and just ignored his brother still dancing in the painful, cold but calm dead of night.
Sadiki is on hiding and the other two council elders he connived with the murder plot of the queen pharaoh were caught, thus asked to spill where their head elder is in Thebes. Both elders didn’t know where Sadiki is now. The eldest and oldest council elder is now at Egypt’s border to go to Eurasia or the West, but gloomily, he didn’t really know where to go. What has come of me? Why did I become this heartless and power grabbing elder? I used to love Egypt with or without position. Haaa….forgive me my mother country, forgive me my queen and pharaoh! May the gods forgive me for my insolence and selfishness!, Sadiki prayed while his boat is about to enter Eurasian territory.
My beautiful people, I have missed you! When I was held captive in a foreign land I was scared. I have never been so afraid in my entire life since I have fought the biggest and scariest soldiers from Egypt and the world. But when I felt so helpless and alone, I thought of you and my country. What will happen to my people if I am not there to support, protect and care for you! But thanks to Prince Hekanefer and her sister Sakhbe that I have gained friends, allies in them. So accept them with all the love I am always giving you and soon for our newest addition to the family, baby Jaurdinia. My best friend General Jardin-Ur may have passed, but his legacy didn’t. He will remain with us in spirit and my daughter will continue his strength and loyalty to Egypt, you my people, the gods and the world. I love you! Now let’s drink and celebrate my return. Egypt will never be alone again!, Pharaoh Henshupta said in her speech while holding a glass of wine towards his people and his guests, family, including Meraek, Angianasim, Sabah, Prince Hekanefer, Princess Sakhbe, other kings and queens of Asia Minor, Mesopotamia, Eurasia but not Persia, since Xerxes was busy colonizing Greece and other European continents as I speak. I wanted to be friends with him but he wants Egypt for himself and wants to conquer the world for his selfish desires and alibies. The people of Egypt along with the foreign citizens who have been legalized to stay there celebrated with the queen and pharaoh with happy and clean hearts. However, Sadiki have been captured and the council elders wanted to make sure he gets punishment well deserved for a traitor.
Henshupta is angry at him for killing her father and for destroying her trust, her people’s trust in her. She wanted to strangle the man with her bare hands since she can kill him in one stride of her sword. But wouldn’t, couldn’t, for she remembers her father’s words, “Forgive those who can’t be forgiven for it’s not them who needs it but you for peace”. I remember father as if he is just beside me in the library or in the temple. Him who is just there at our vegetable and fruit plantations, harvesting and or planting seedling along with me or one of our farmers.
I kneel in my father’s grave now to ask his help to forgive for I couldn’t do it, especially when Sadiki’s face doesn’t have remorse but a jackal’s annoying, disturbing grimace of a liar, user and unfaithful elder of Egypt’s prestigious council. Haaa……this is one of the hardest jobs in the planet, being a pharaoh and acting like god to forgive a serious aggressor and thief of the land.
I forgave him, yes! I did, but banished him from Egypt and never to return unless he has suffered more than fifty years of his life being banished that even his kin wouldn’t remember his acts and his treaties as head of the elders in the pharaoh’s council.
Angianasim is always shy in front of me but I always assure him that it wasn’t his fault that his father chose a different path than him. He is a doctor and a good soul who cares a lot of Egypt and not about its riches or power but of service and its people. I made Angianasim head of the health department and vizier of Egypt’s government and medical fields. Angia was so shy about it but he accepted and vowed to make Egypt proud of him and his lineage once again. In order to clean his father’s stained name, Angianasim made his line famous and well honored of the title.
