Chapter 43Angela tossed and turned all night, she just couldn't sleep. She was really shocked by Jake's betrayal of Miranda and also by the way he'd included Bobby in his lie without even forewarning him. Not that Bobby would have supported him, but at least the scene at the Club could have been avoided. She felt sick for Miranda. Imagine being put in that position by someone who's meant to love you. Angela used to like Jake, but now she'd lost all respect for him and she definitely didn't want to have anything more to do with him. But there posed the problem, with Bobby being in business with Jake they couldn't avoid having some contact. At six o'clock Angela gave up trying to sleep and she went downstairs to make herself some coffee and toast. Within ten minutes Bobby had joined her.
