Chapter 16Megan and Anne-Marie shared a passionate kiss in the doorway of their close before Anne-Marie set off to work. They'd spent a typical Thursday together beginning with them rising late and eating a large cooked brunch. They'd stuffed themselves with Lorne sausage, bacon, fried eggs, beans and black pudding accompanied by hot buttered toast and mugs of strong sweet tea, heart attack food but a diet that most Scots enjoyed.
