Chapter 13Megan Reece loved the flat she shared with Anne-Marie because they'd made it such a cosy home and she felt safe in it. Her strict Catholic parents had thrown her out when she told them she was a lesbian. She was sixteen and completely alone. If it hadn't been for Anne-Marie she would have been in real danger because she didn't know how to survive on the streets.
