The lucky encounter

Selena's pov

I finish my meal and signal the waitress. I pay my bill and she thanks me for the tip. I look at my watch and see that the time is 3:15 pm. I hope that Mr Grisham arrives very soon. I pick up my phone and begin to scroll through my messages.

I am engrossed with my phone before I hear the sounds of approaching footsteps. I look up and see Mr Grisham and another man. I stare at the man and I'm stunned by his beauty. He is tall and muscular. He has black hair and green eyes. It felt like there was nobody else in the world the moment I locked eyes with him.

I stand up and shake Mr Grisham's hand. I greet him and he tells me to call him Dave. Then,I extend my hand to the man beside him. I greet him and ask for his name. He stutters as he tells me his name is Chris. We all sit down and I begin to discuss business with Dave.

I can actually feel his eyes on me while I'm talking to Dave. I stare at his hands and notice they are shaking. He is probably anxious or nervous. I obviously feel a connection with him but I am not sure if he is a submissive. He looks like a confident man who knows what he wants. The only reason he is acting this way probably because I make him nervous.

Dave keeps on talking about the different quality fabrics he has. I actually seem to be focused on what he is saying meanwhile my thoughts are on the man beside me.

After 30 minutes,we finally round up our discussion and I tell him the fabric I want him to supply me. I look at Chris and ask if he is Dave's business partner.

"No, I'm not. He is my best friend" he replies.

"Oh! That is really cool. What sort of business do you do then?"

"Umm...I am actually a real estate agent and I own my little business that deals with that" he says

"Wow,that is really cool. I would love to do business with you. Give me your phone number" I say while passing him my phone. He types his digits on my phone while I study him. He is most likely a dominant since he owns his own business. I really like him but I'm not sure we are a good match for each other. I guess I would get to know him before I decide the next step.

He gives me back my phone and I saved him as Chris.

"I would call you when I get home. It was really nice seeing the both of you today" I say as I stand up and pick up my bag. I shake hands with them again,greet them goodbye and start walking out of the restaurant.
