Monday sucks

Emma’s POV.. Andrew didn’t call me again last night. He text to say that everyone went to eat and rode together. I guess that was normal. The foreman got drunk again and he was having to deal with everything. He said he’d text me in the morning. It’s fine. I’m fine. Today is going to be rough. I have a full day of teaching planned. I going over logarithmic equations in two classes and the law of cosines in the other four. When classes get out I’ve got to go to the bank and set up my new account. I’ve already called the principal and gotten permission to go to the courthouse during my planning block to meet Rob and file our divorce papers. The courthouse is literally four minutes from the school so it shouldn’t be an issue. I decide since I’ve got such a stacked day, I need to dress overly professional. I pick a charcoal pencil skirt that hits at the knees. It’s not too snug at all. Honestly it’s downright respectable in the way it fits for a teacher. I pair it with an off white blouse that has a black tie at the top. When tied it almost looks like a non structured bow tie. I wear a pair of peep toe pumps with the look. My hair is done is loose waves and worn down and my makeup is minimal but professional. Once dressed, I snap a picture and send it to Andrew. It’s 6:00 so he may not be up and going yet. I’ve got a little extra time this morning. I’ve still got to get my stuff together and make coffee. I head downstairs. My phone rings. It’s Andrew. I answer and put it on speaker. “Hey!” “Damn, sexy ass. Where you going?” I just giggle. “I’ve got work today and I’m getting my personal checking account set up. I’ve also got some business to attend to at the courthouse.” “Listen, you’re going to file for divorce looking like that? That’s cruel.” “Ha. Whatever. He won’t think so. He will wonder why I even wear a skirt. My legs aren’t worth showing off. Believe me, it’s the necessary fuel to get a signature.” I can’t help the sadness that creeps into my voice when I say those things. “How many more skirts like that do you have? You’re legs look fine as hell to me.” “Just two others. A black one that’s the same cut and a really loose black one.” My coffee is finishing and my bag is packed. “What time are you going to the courthouse?” “Umm my planning period is at 9:15 so the appointment is for 9:25. The clerk told me last week to expect it to take fifteen minutes. I should be done by 9:40. I have students again at 10:10.” “Call me and let me know how it went.” “Okay. Why?” “I just know that after you talk about him, you’re sad and hard on yourself. I know you’re gonna be down. I want to make sure you’re okay.” That is the sweetest thing. My throat goes dry and my chest clenches. I feel tears pinch my eyes. “Andrew, thank you. You have no idea what you’ve meant to me the last few days. Thank you.” “Yeah. It’s all good. I’ve got to go, okay. Go teach some math. You look hot. Makes me wonder if you have those same black panties on from the other night. I can’t get them out of my head.” I just smile. “I hear ya. Okay. Have a good day. Talk to you later. Oh and no. These are better.” I hit end and run upstairs. Before I can change my mind. I need this for me. It won’t take five minutes and I’m running early anyway. I text him quickly, “don’t make a sound when these come through… if you screenshot them, don’t let them go anywhere but to your eyes. Yeah, I’m giving you permission.” I strip off my skirt and shirt. I’m standing in my nude lace bra, my black micro lace thong, and my heels. My thong is just tiny lace flowers stitched together. I stand in front of the mirror. I’m already wet and swollen. My breasts are already hardened and pebbled, which is noticeable through my bra. I stick my index finger between my teeth and bite down softly and spread my legs just a smidge. I take the picture and I have to say it’s freakin hot. I turn around and the only thing on my back is the string coming up my ass and the little bow where it attaches to the top of the panties plus my bra strap. I poke my butt out enough to where my slickness from my entrance can be seen through my butt cheeks and turn to look over my shoulder. I snap that picture and send it. I hurriedly get dressed and run down the stairs. I grab my bag and coffee and run out the door, lock up and hop in the car. I plug in my phone and take off. As soon as I’m on the interstate I get a text. “Holy shit.” That’s all it says. I start giggling because I know he’s trying so hard to contain himself. I don’t believe in texting while driving, so I hit the talk to text button. “What’s wrong?” “Mondays suck ass. I can’t think straight. I keep staring at your picture on my phone. I want to make that picture of you my background but then I’d have to murder anyone that looked at my phone. Why do you even wear panties when they look like that? s**t. I’m hard, like really hard.” By this time I’m dying laughing. I reply with, “I warned you. You should have known the affect they’d have. Plus you asked what kind of panties I had on. It’s your fault.” He quits responding and I’m sure he’s working or trying to. I get to work and start teaching. When my planning period rolls around, I text him to tell him I’m headed to the courthouse. I get no reply. When I pull up at the courthouse I see Rob’s truck. I get out and make my way in the building. I’ve got the papers in hand. I see him in the lobby and he just looks at me. There’s an audible exhale before he asks, “do you always have to dress like a slut in public or do you just like the attention?” “I’m not doing this with you. We’re here to sign papers. That’s all.” About that time, the clerk calls our name. We walk to the counter and set the paperwork on the counter. “We’re filing for divorce. Irreconcilable differences. It’s mutual. We’ve agreed to the terms presented,” I state. “Okay. Do you have anything to add sir?” The clerk asks Rob. “I guess that’s it.” I just glare at him as he answers. The clerk takes the papers and asks us each to sign once she reads over them. She notarizes them and then says, “who’s going to pay the filing fee?” Rob looks at me and says, “well since I’m the only one with the money, I guess I will.” He’s so damn infuriating. He hands her cash and begins to smirk at me. She just smiles softly at me. I feel her pity in my bones. “Well, that’s it. Your papers will go before the judge in 60 days. You can call the courthouse then to ensure everything is final.” “Thank you,” I state and turn to leave. Rob just walks out. He goes out first and acts like he will hold the door for me then releases it as I begin to walk through. Jackass. When I get out to the car, that’s when all hell brakes loose. Rob strides over and begins to spew his vile words at me.
