Her fear is increasing with every step the creature takes, her heart beats like a drum on the 4th of July, as the creature walks closer, his features become more visible to her, two meters high creature, with wide shoulders, short legs, walking on two legs, like a human but a huge one.    His eyes are shining like a cat, she steps backward as she takes into consideration that the creature might have night vision, doing the math she knew she can't win a fight with a spear against the creature.   Once the creature reached the shelter, he stopped in a spot of moonlight and looked at the sky, Jean was shocked as she couldn't believe what she sees.     These fangs, claws, big muscular body, hair of a king, this cant be, is this king of the jungle in a parallel world !! She is drowning in fear, knowing what she knows about lions, her chances of surviving are close to zero, even if he didn't see me he is still gonna smell me, feel my presence, she is trembling in fear.   This journey just started, this cant be the end, be careful of what you wish for, that's what they say, the creature starts moving again and she gets ready to fight, as the creature passes by peacefully, her heart stopped for a moment, she couldn't let her guard down, she waited until his footsteps sound faded away then gathered what she had left of courage to get out of the shelter and check if its safe for her to sleep now, the tension and fear she went throw is more than enough to call it a night, she wants to rest and that's all she wants.   Jean steps out of the shelter slowly, making sure she doesn't make a sound, she looks around but it is too dark to see far distances, but at least she knows she is safe now, she intakes a deep breath and let it all out, as all the worries and fear seemed to fade away, she turns around to get back to her under tree shelter, worry-free and ready to sleep.   As she is heading towards the tree, she hears a sound of claws ripping through the bark of the tree, she looks up towards the sound to see two big yellow shiny eyes staring at her, time freezes.   How could I forget? Lions are extraordinary climbers, Jean says it out loud: this is the end for me.
