Chapter-28

A shiver passed through Adhira's body. He was looking at her. Anyone could tell by looking at his state that he was not in good condition. His black bloodshot eyes indicated that he had too much to drink tonight. He stumbled with his steps while making his way over there to Adhira. A whimper escaped from her small mouth on finding the Devil standing right in front of her. Shivering like a leaf, she got scared, wondering if he is angry. She had no idea what wrong she has done now.

These past few days she had been doing everything he wanted her to do like an obedient slave. And in a way she was.

She did not fight him, talked back to him, or showed any kind of refusal. She surely had a hard time accepting her fate and submitting to him like a slave but she did know that this is the only way to lessen the pain. The more she would fight, the more she would suffer.

Succumbing to the pain was the only way.

"Come here" She heard him commanding her. He looked like a king sitting on his throne while he was sitting on the bed waiting for her to move. The anger in his tone once again made her shiver with fear. Her heart pounded hard in her chest with fear. The only thing she wanted right now was to run away or hide in a dark corner though darkness is not so friendly for her still it is better than standing in front of this devil.

With the fear that if she did not do as he say, he would get angry, Adhira quickly walked up to him. Somehow, she knew that pain would come to her sooner or later but infuriating him would only pile more agony on her existing one.

Now she did not oppose him, thinking that it is not his fault. He isn't wrong. Everyone has treated her the same way. The only difference that she could draw among all of them is may be some had treated her more humanely while some might have not even bothered to identify her as a human with emotions and feelings.

Taking her steps slow and small, when she stood in front of him with her head bowed down, her body shivering with fear, it surprisingly for the first time didn't settle well with Reyansh. He frowned with this unpleasurable feeling inside him. He did not know what he should do to make it go away and this fuelled his anger. He was angry now with himself for not knowing what to do. He hated it when he is not the one in control.

He decided to ignore his own chaotic thoughts.

Grabbing her wrist he pulled her onto his lap. Adhira did not lift her head upward and she was so stiff as a log.

He raised her chin with his index finger and that made her face glow as the moonlight fell on her face through the window where Adhira was sitting by earlier. But she didn't raise her eyes. Her eyes were looking at the carpeted floor like it was the most interesting thing in the world. However, he thought it was her lack of response that angered him more.

Pinching her chin harshly with one hand while his other hand clenched her waist softly to support her, "Look up Precious." he more likely commanded her.

And the moment he saw her eyes when she slowly raised them up from the ground, he felt the air sucked out of his body making him breathless.

Her those ocean-green eyes sparkled like emeralds in the dark. Her mesmerizing emerald eyes did something to him, probably magic on him. They were so deep like the ocean and sparkling like the moon and stars. Like a precious diamond.

Looking into her big doe eyes, Reyansh hand unknowingly went up to her fair pink cheeks from her chin.

Adhira recoiled more into his chest when she saw his hand coming to her cheeks probably thinking of a striking slap landing on her face.

Seeing her pushing herself more into his embrace, Reyansh felt an urge in his heart. An urge to make her his.

An urge to consume her all.

An urge to keep her locked away from all the world.

An urge to protect her from the whole world to keep her caged in his arms like she is now forever.

His eyes traveled down to her quivering pink lips. They were so tempting like rose petals ready to be sucked by him only.

He planted his thumb on her lips and traced her lower lips with his thumbs lovingly.

So soft.

Soon his thumb was replaced by his cold lips. Reyansh started to kiss her softly and tenderly, all the while sucking on her sweet lips. His hands rubbed on her sides.

Adhira shivered and wanted to get out of his hold. She knew she would end up in the same state.

When she did not give an entrance to him to her mouth, he sunk his teeth harshly onto her lips causing her to gasp in pain. He took the chance and pushed his tongue into her mouth, tasting every inch of her sweetness.

I was just wondering, am I doing this writing thing right? Pls comment and share. And also forgive me for small updates like this one also but after a few more small updates will be updating long chapters for you and me to enjoy.
