Reyansh had always loved others fearing him. He gets immense pleasure and satisfaction when he sees fear in people's eyes.

And Adhira was no different from that.

But this time it somehow unknowingly created a difference for him. For the first time, he didn't like the fear in her eyes. He didn't like it when she shivered and cowered away from him.

But it should have pleasured him. He enjoyed that!

But unfortunately, it didn't !

He questioned himself, why he didn't feel his usual self.

Deciding to let these thoughts slip for just this once, he cleared his throat, and his piercing gaze moved to Adhira.

An unintentional sob went through her, making Reyansh frown deeply with irritation.

I haven't even said anything to her yet ! Reyansh opened his mouth to say something but he closed his mouth when he saw Adhira clasping both her hands in front of him pleadingly and shaking her head negatively.

She thought that he was going to hit and punish her, hence she did what she had been doing since she came here. Begging him to show mercy.

Reyansh didn't know what to do. He had no idea she was this scared of him.

" Fvck " cursing under his breath, he ran his fingers through his dark strands, for the millionth time of the day. He opened his mouth and closed it a few times, unable to decide what to say or how to comfort her. He could have said anything but he, for an unknown reason, did not want her to be more frightened of him than she is already.

Tears spilled down her eyes continuously but, noticing Reyansh not making a move on her, she eventually felt relaxed.

He won't hit me or force me. Right ? Doubting her own optimism, she peeked at him through her damp eyelashes.

She saw him pacing in the room, his slender fingers threading through his dark hair.

And then she smelled something and pinched her nose.

Disgusted with the foul smell, her eyes ran around the room for that sickening smell. After running her emerald orbs here and there, her searching eyes stopped at the spot where she was chained earlier and the realization dawned upon her that,

What she has done !

More fat tears spilled from her eyes in fear of what he would do to her.

Oh God ! I dirtied his room and bed also ! A chill ran down her spine and the hair on the back of her nape stood with terror.

His terror !

And to her horror, Reyansh walked toward her. His dark bottomless eyes locked with her green eyes, shining with unshed tears.

Not able to stand his piercing eyes on her, she looked down in fear and shame.

Reyansh stopped just an inch away from her. He bent a little forward in front of her. His minty breath hitting the bare and sensitive skin of her neck.

Adhira didn't dare to breathe, seeing him so close to her.

And from under her eyelashes, she saw him raising his hands. Adhira closed her eyes tightly, anticipating the impending blow to her.
