The driver lost his consciousness and their car crashed into the median strip.
As a reflex, Reyansh almost immediately, in a heart beat, took Adhira in his arms. He caged her in his arms, creating a barrier around her. Reyansh pushed her head into his chest, bracing her head for any kind of injury to come their way.
Reyansh turned themselves while holding Adhira in his arms protectively such that he got on top of her, taking all the effect of the crash upon himself. Adhira was pushed into the car seat while Reyansh protected her with his body.
With his life!
His head banged hard against the glass of the window and behind the passenger seat.
Their car toppled over, turning the people sitting inside it to be up side down with it.
Shocked at what had happened, it took Adhira a while to understand what had actually happened. She tried to get up from the uncomfortable position but the heaviness of Reyansh's body kept crushing her under him. She groaned when she couldn't get up.
Moving her head a little with great difficulty, she searched for Reyansh, only to find him covered in blood and unconscious above her.
Her eyes widened in panic. And before she could calm her raging heart down and deal with the horrifying scene, she saw smoke coming out of the upside down car.

Adhira POV:-
No, no, no, no ! !
I need to get him out. And driver also. The huge amount of smoke emitted from the upside down car frightened me. I don't know anything about cars but this will probably be an indication of danger.
The car may catch fire or blast anytime. I don't know.
"M..master! Master", I called Reyansh loudly, but he didn't respond.
I felt my heart drop into my stomach. Blood gushed out of his head, staining his earlier white shirt with its ugly redness.
I need to get them out! Quick!
I tried to push him off myself, but I couldn't. I felt my head spinning and my breath came in short pants. I couldn't breathe, my chest constricted.
Mustering up all my strength, I pushed him successfully sideways. He fell beside me unconscious. Letting a breath out, I tried to unlock the door, so that I could take them out.
I tried to twist the door lock from the inside but they didn't budge. The doors were jammed, as I could think.
I looked at the window, that was the only escape I could think of from this car. The window was broken with glass shards sticking out at the edges.
I looked at Reyansh and the driver, they both were bleeding terribly.
But Reyansh was the one who had the most effect of the crash.
My body shivered at thought of something happening to him.
My hands went to my neck, where I had my strength in the form of a pendant.
I clutched the pendant in my hand.
Please, help me !
I need to get them out fast! He saved me and brought this all upon himself. He is in this condition because of me. Only me.
I tried to pull myself up. "Aah!" The glass shards pierced through my skin.
No, I couldn't pull my self out first! If I will be out how will pull him out?
And for once, I thought why was he so heavy!
The amount of smoke was increasing. I was running short of time. Oh God!
"Master..ma...Reyansh" I called him by his name. He didn't show any reaction.
" Reyansh!" I cried louder this time. And with his name rolling out of my lips, one after another sob erupted through my body.
I was feeling helpless and hopeless! I felt useless and pathetic!
"Re...Reyansh... please..please wake up" I tapped his cheeks and cried out loud.
I called him out and kept tapping his cheeks. But he didn't respond to any of that.
No! I can't wait for him to wake up.
Collecting myself, I pulled him up a little. I could only pull his hands up. He was so heavy! I felt like moving a mountain.
I kept pulling him and somehow I managed to pull him up in a slight standing position.
My head spinned again and a wave of vertigo hit me. I staggered but didn't left him.
I pushed him with all my strength. But only his head came out of the car.
And the glass shards would pierce his skin if left his head.
Ohh, God!
I need to get out. Then I would pull him out.
This way I won't let the glass shards prick him.
I pulled my upper body with the support of my hand on the car. I took a lot of strength but the only thing I could think was I need to save them.
I sighed when I finally pulled myself out. I stood above the car. And bend forward, I pulled Reyansh by his hand with all my strength. His upper body was almost out. His chest came in my view.
I would have never pulled him by his hands, exerting all the pressure on his bullet wound on his shoulder, if the situation was different. Blood gushed out his shoulder, but I need to pull him. I careless about his wounds when he could die in there.
I was almost on the verge of toppling over to the road from above the car by pulling him.
Almost there...almost there... I kept chanting with each pull.
His legs were only inside. Just a little pull, I encouraged myself.
"Sorry.. I need to do this" I cried before pushing him off the car.
His unconsicious body fell on the road with a thud..
I could have never carried him from above the car and jumped on the road.
This was the only way out!
Driver...I need to save him.
I move to him. He doesn't looked as heavy as Reyansh did. He was less muscular than him.
I pulled him too just like I did before. Though he was as heavy as Reyansh was.
Still he was heavy.
Muttering a sorry, I pushed him too off the car.
I winched when he also landed with a thud on the road.
The blackish smoke emitting through the car was intensifying.
I jumped off the car, and my legs gave up causing me to fell down.
Every inch of my body ached, and my hands were bloody. I don't if that was their blood or mine. I could no longer feel anything. I felt my body gaving up and my vision blurring.
No, no, no, !! I can't give up. I still have to drag them away, at safe distance.
The car would blast anytime.
I pulled my self up, my feet staggering. I started dragging the driver first because he was less heavy and I felt my self getting weak.
I dragged him far from the car to the side walk. And rested his upper body on the trunk of the tree.
It was getting really hard to breath.
I could stand up. I had no strength left to walk.
"Rey...reyansh..reyansh" I staggered toward him.
No, I can't give up. Just a little bit more.
I encouraged myself once again. And tried dragging him. But he was too heavy and I had no strength.
Still I managed to drag him a little far. Though not as far as the driver was.
I dragged him more, my every muscles felt like screaming in pain and every cell felt like stopped working.
