Chapter-29

" Tick ... Tick ... Tick " Hearing the sound of the clock ticking for the past hour, Adhira decided to move the heavy arm holding her possessively. Though she very dreadfully clasped her shivering fingers around his heavy and veiny arms, she still very skillfully succeeded in removing his arms from her petite body and placed them beside him. Closing her eyes for a few seconds, she focused on her breathing, mentally whispering to calm down.

She remembered one of the nights. After using her body animalistically, when she was tired from crying and enduring the brutal pain and was on the verge of passing out, he kicked her off his bed and threw her away. Looking over her with disgust and calling her names, he that day made her clear that she is nothing but a use and throw plastic cup. He made her feel like one.

He made her feel like a cheap w.hore. From that day she always remembered her place and never stayed in the bed after being brutally rapped by him.

After a few minutes passed and she did not notice him stirring from his sleep, she steadily tried to get up from the bed. Supporting her upper half to raise from the lying to half sitting position, she tried moving her legs but still couldn't. Looking down at her legs, her gaze fell on a pair of legs wrapped around her like a snake. She slowly managed to untangle them from her legs.

The moment her feet touched the floor, she winced and gasped in pain. Limping on her way to the washroom, she walked with the support of the wall slowly. Reaching inside, her eyes watered when her eyes traveled to her reflection reflecting on the full length mirror inside the bathroom. Her fair skin was fully covered with marks of biting. Every inch of her body was painted with red or purple color, wherever her gaze moved. A sob escaped her mouth seeing the sight of her own body.

Her eyes widened in horror when she realized Reyansh sleeping in the room. She wrapped her hands around her mouth in an attempt to muffle her sob. Her legs took her to the farthest corner of the bathroom, away from the door. Her back hit the wall indicating this is it. Her limit.

Her boundary.

This was the end of her cage. How much she would try but couldn't escape it.

Her body lost all the strength and her legs gave away. Sliding herself down along with the wall, she tightened her hold on her own mouth so much that it became difficult for her to breathe.

It does not matter how much time has passed since her living with Reyansh but every night she would cry herself to sleep.

Every night was the same for her. He would come home drunk and angry, then he would use her like an animal and throw her. She would always limp her way to the bathroom and cry her heart out in muffled sobs. After that, she would come back and sleep on the floor without any pillow or sheet. Naked.

It was one of the rules written in the list which was handed to her after waking up from the fever that night. That she had to sleep naked on the floor every night. There were also several rules written in that list which was mandatory for her to follow. Like, she is required to do all the work of the mansion without any help such as cleaning, mopping, gardening...in which she has planted all kinds of roses and lilies including various trees,... cooking, etc. Then she is also required to fulfill every need of Reyansh. She isn't allowed to use the bathroom without permission of Reyansh. She is not allowed to eat without completing all her chores and his permission also. Then there would be times when she is required to endure whips and lashes. And after she had completed all her duties she would be locked inside the room.

Just like a prisoner.

Never to talk back, never to look in the eye of the master, and there were many never do this or that. The rules were never ending for poor Adhira. Not entirely but still it was easy for her to follow them when Reyansh was not around.

But then again, he will never let it all be easy for her.
