Reyansh dragged her to their bedroom back from the basement. Opening the door with a thud, Reyansh threw her inside. Her body fell on the floor and her head collided with one of the legs of the table.

Blood oozed out from the cut on her forehead, trickling down her eyebrows and then sliding down her cheek.

Sobbing very hard, her fingers touched the cut on her forehead, and groaned in pain. Bringing her blood coated fingers in front of her eyes, more tears spilled out of those emerald orbs.

This is my own fault. I must be punished. What was I even thinking when I decided to run from him? I deserve to be despised by everyone. How I can be so selfish that I endangered papa and masi's life for my own selfishness? I deserve every punishment. I am a curse to everyone. A curse is not liked by anyone. Not loved by anyone. To whom I have ever loved always ends dead and cursed. I have no right to love and be loved. It's all my fault ...

Adhira blamed herself for everything bad that happened in their life. She did not even care to press her forehead to stop bleeding because she thought this as her punishment. The only thought in her mind was she deserves this and much more than this. She even thought that perhaps she would have jinxed her mother to death.

Remembering her mother, her fingers naturally went to her pendant. She clenched the pendant in her palm and somehow it managed to stable her wandering thoughts. It always does the magic on her. It had never failed to calm her and gave her a new ray of hope.

Her new found calmness was short lived when she saw Reyansh entering the room with two chains in his hands.

Is he going to tie me like an animal? She thought and a shiver ran down her spine, her hands damp with sweat.

Like always, Reyansh surpasses all her thoughts and possible expectations. She at first thought, he would again beat her till she passes out or like always he would r**e her, abuse her, and then throw her away but then again he had surprised her.

He would chain her with those metallic chains and cuffs.

He pulled her from her arm and dragged her to a corner of the room.

" b***h you really thought you can run from me. Now show me how would you run w***e?" He caught her hands together and cuffed them. She whimpered seeing herself being cuffed and chained like an animal. The chain was attached to the cuffs joining it further down to another set of shackles. He chained her both hands and legs.

Words did not escape from her mouth. What possibly could she say? Or more beg him but he would never listen to her. She could only cry on her ill fate.

After securing her chain with one of the bedposts, Reyansh stood up and dusted his hands and pants from invisible dirt. A satisfactory evil smirk appeared on his face. "Good" He muttered and left her crying on the cold floor.
