Clenching his jaws in anger, he slapped her very hard. Adhira screamed in pain and, without wasting any more time, he fisted her hair and made her stand up from bed.
Her legs got entangled in the bedsheets and she fell on her knees. Reyansh forcefully made her stand up but Adhira clutched the bedsheets very tightly like her life depended on it.
"Shut up you b***h. You dare to shout at me? You won't be getting any sleep tonight, Whore." He started dragging her in the bathroom. He snatched the bedsheet from her and threw it away.
Every inch of her body was exposed to Reyansh’s eyes, and nothing was hidden. Right now, she felt she was like a plaything with no respect.
The next moment, Reyansh turned on the tap filled with cold water. It was already winter and cold water added more misery to her miserable life.
Icy cold water spilled over her head, viciously drenching the rest of her body. Instantly, all the warmth that her body had vanished. Adhira shuddered violently as all the color left her face.It was so freezing cold.
Her teeth chattered with the coldness.
Any other man would have felt something upon seeing her like this. Shivering in the cold. Likewise, a little spot in his heart tingled seeing her like this, but it was too little compared to the hatred he had in his heart for them.
"Just stand here until I don't say so" Reyansh took a step back and smirked at her before leaving her alone.
Time ticked by and Adhira stood under the icy water, her mind muddled from the rush of cold water. Meanwhile, her thin legs kept shaking. Several times, she nearly toppled over from losing her footing. Despite all that, she didn't turn off the shower. She could have just turned off the shower when he walked out but she could not shoulder such a heavy burden of cheating or lying. Half of the problems in her life is because of her refusing to lie.
She would not do something she never did! Wasn’t it just water anyway? She didn't need to disobey him when he clearly said that she should stand there until he tell her.
She was not afraid.
Her stomach grumbled and her throat ached. She hadn't eaten or drank anything since she got married.
She opened her mouth and gulped the water falling down.
It's been four days! Since four days she hadn't eat or drink anything.
Meanwhile, Reyansh went to his study. He got busy in his work. Yet his mind was not present there. This was first time when he was distracted. Mindlessly flipping through files, he glanced at the clock hanging on the wall.
His forehead screwed up into a tight frown and his eyes darkened.
Three hours!
He kicked the chair off and walked hurriedly back to his room. Percipitiously walking inside the bathroom, his eyes widened for a moment. His large frame made the bathroom seem cramped in comparison.
