The Lure THE SUMMER persisted with outstanding weather, and Eve stepped out the taxi into another warm evening at The Renaissance Hotel. She was instantly greeted in front of the building, which looked like an Alpine castle, and asked if she was there for the tasting. Eve said she was and was pleasantly escorted up the walk and directed through the enormous lobby towards the rear veranda. It was the first large scale wine tasting she had attended at such a venue and continued in progressive disbelief that she had not done it before.
