A Toll To Pay
EVE WAS walking a tightrope. She did not want to falter off either side and had to stay focused on the end platform to ensure steady footing. Throughout the menacing time with Sam, Eve had certainly not forgotten about Vincent. All of the interactions with Sam and had been a hammer to the nail of the true relationship satisfaction that Vincent embodied. It was a precarious situation, however, as her current actions with Sam may be the undoing of what was a fantastically blossoming relationship with Vincent. Eve did not mentally see how, if ever, she would reveal her warpath on Sam to Vincent. She made sure to bury her adulterating feelings when she made an impromptu visit to The Belmont earlier that day.
