Chapter 4 - Ace

I led my mate through the dormitory until we found a quiet corner away from the main party. It would have been much better if I had been able to convince her to come back to my room so I could claim her, but it looked as though I would have to wait a little while longer for that.

“So, what did you want to talk about?” Melody crossed her arms in front of her, inadvertently pushing her breasts up towards me. I know she was angry at me but she looked amazing and having her so close made it very hard for me to keep my hands off her.

“Everything, we are going to be together forever and I can’t wait to find out everything there is to know about you.” Melody rolled her eyes at me before pulling the bottle of wine out of my hand and taking a swig from it. Seeing her drinking like that and knowing that she was still fully human made me uncomfortable. She didn’t have the metabolism of a werewolf and I worried about the damage she might be doing to her body.

Despite this, I didn’t want to damage our relationship further by trying to tell her what to do. Instead, I sat down on a nearby chair and pulled Melody down onto my lap. She tried to stand up again to get some distance from me so I looped my arms tightly around her waist to keep her in place.

“I know that we take psychology together, but what other classes do you take?”

“I don’t see why you care, it’s not as though you like me. You didn’t even know who I was this morning.” She took another swig out of the wine bottle.

“Are you sure that it is safe to be drinking like that?” I asked.

“Are you trying to tell me what to do now?” Melody growled, trying to pull herself out of my arms. I was never going to let that happen, now that I had her in my arms I was never going to let her go.

“No, I just want to keep you safe.” I softly kissed her neck and shoulder, the urge to sink my teeth into her neck and put an end to all her doubts was almost overwhelming. Once she felt the bond between us like I did she wouldn’t even dream of questioning the way I felt about her.

“You make no sense. Why are you acting like that when you think I am so disgusting?” She took a swig of wine, she was already starting to slur her words a bit and I didn’t like it.

“You are beautiful and sexy and I can’t wait to get you home so I can prove how hot you are,” I purred. My fangs had extended in anticipation and I couldn’t resist the urge to drag them over her skin. Melody shuddered and let out the most s****l moan I have ever heard in my life, I pulled her closer while digging my fingers into her hips. The scent of her arousal was thick in the air around us, making my mouth water as I dreamed about burying my face between her thighs.

“Who said that I was going home with you?”

“You seem awfully turned on, it would be a shame for you to go to bed frustrated. Why don’t you let me take care of you?” She paused for a moment before nodding her head in agreement and taking another large gulp of wine. I pulled the bottle out of her hand and placed it out of her reach, if I was going to claim my mate then I wanted her full consent.

“I guess one night will help me get over you, and as you are only capable of one-night stands this should work out nicely.” She mumbled. I didn’t think I was supposed to hear what she uttered but I wasn’t going to argue with her any more. I would make love to her and claim her tonight, I could take my time convincing her of my love later.

“You won’t regret agreeing to be my Luna.” Before she could object I turned her head and kissed her. I knew that I should have kept our kiss brief so that I could get her safely into my room. That was much easier said than done when she tasted as close to perfection as she did. My hands left her hips and explored her body as my tongue explored her mouth until she pulled away from me.

“My name’s not Luna, maybe we shouldn’t do this if you think I am another woman.” She told me as jumped out of my lap and took a few steps away from me. My wolf didn’t like that at all, he growled loudly in my head while trying to push his way forward in my mind.

“I don’t want any other woman than you,” I said, jumping to my feet and sweeping my mate off her feet.

Melody let out a small shriek as her feet left the floor and I started to carry through the dormitory towards the exit. The humans around us looked shocked and confused but there were a few werewolves and other supernatural beings dotted around and they all knew exactly what was going on between us.

“Wait just a f*****g minute!” Screamed a woman as she stepped out in front of me a few steps away from the exit. She had her hands on her hips and she was staring me down as though she was contemplating whether to end my life. There was some power behind her, it was clear that she wasn’t completely human but I wasn’t sure what kind of supernatural creature she was.

“I would have thought that you would know better than to get between an Alpha wolf and his mate,” I whispered low enough to shield my words from the humans around us. The woman scowled at me, clearly unaffected by my not-so-subtle threat.

“I don’t care who you are, Mel is human and intoxicated. You can’t do this to her.”

“I’m not taking her against her will, she wants to be with me.” I leaned forward and kissed my mate until she moaned and wrapped her arms around my neck. The woman in front of me rolled her eyes.

“I know I can’t stand in your way but you can be sure of one thing. If you break my friend’s heart then I will break your face.”

“I would never do anything to hurt her.” My words this morning were careless and they hurt her, but I was never going to make that mistake again. I was going to spend the rest of my life making her life better in every way.

Her friend didn’t seem convinced but thankfully she stepped aside to let us through. It seemed as though it wasn’t just my mate that I was going to have to prove myself to, her friends were also going to be vetting me. But strangely I was OK with that, I liked that my mate had people who looked out for her, not that she was going to need it any more. Now that she had me, my whole pack would look after her and give their lives to protect her if they had to.

I carried my mate back to my dormitory and into my room. She didn’t seem too impressed that I wouldn’t let her walk but every time she tried to complain I kissed her until she calmed down again.

“I want to make sure that you understand that this is a one-time thing. After tonight nothing like this can ever happen again.” She told me the moment I placed her on the floor and closed the door of my room behind her. I took hold of her waist and pushed her against the wall, kissing her lips before moving slowly to her neck.

“I’m never letting you go, I am going to worship you every day for the rest of my life and way beyond.” I pushed my body up against her and kissed her neck passionately.

“Maybe you should stop,” She suggested as her fingers dug into my back and pulled me closer.

“Tell me Luna, why would I stop when you smell like heaven?” I ran my hands down her body and slipped one hand into the waistband of her jeans as she continued to make excuses why we couldn’t be together, each one less convincing than the one before.

“We’re not on the same page, this is such a bad idea. I need to leave before either of us do something that we will reg….” The words fell silent on her tongue as my fingers glided through her folds and over her clit.

“I can stop if you want me to but it won’t change a damn thing. You are mine and you always will be. So tell me, do you really want this to stop?” I stopped moving my finger over her clit and pulled back so that I could look her directly in the eyes.

“No, I want you inside me more than anything I have ever wanted before.” She replied, nibbling on her lower lip.

“Good girl. Now take off your clothes and get on the bed so that I can give you your reward.” She looked hesitant as I removed my hand from her jeans, so I kissed her lips and led her over towards my bed before she could change her mind.

“What kind of reward are we talking about?” She asked as I slowly lifted the hem of her t-shirt. Her voice was quivering slightly as she tried to use her arms to hide her body from me, I didn’t like that but we had many years together to work on her confidence and tonight was all about her pleasure.

“I’m going to pleasure you until you scream my name so hard that the whole campus knows who you belong to.” I unbuttoned her jeans and started to pull her zip down.

“I don’t belong to you Ace, I don’t belong to anyone.” She told me as I pulled her jeans down and off her legs.

“Of course Luna. You are a strong independent woman, now lay down on my bed so that I can worship your body like the goddess you are.”

Melody rolled her eyes at me but thankfully she listened to my instructions and lay down in the middle of my large four-poster bed. The look in her eyes told me that she wanted to make some comment about my bed but she was shocked into silence as I pulled off my clothes in front of her.

“I hope you like what you see.”

“I’ve seen better,” she mumbled before turning away from me, embarrassed that I had caught her admiring my body. I probably deserved that after the way that I spoke about her earlier but I was still going to make her eat those words before tonight was through.

I lay down on the bed beside her before turning her body to face mine and claiming her lips. I kissed her passionately while using my fingers to pleasure her body. She thrust her hips against me while letting out soft moans of pleasure until abruptly she pulled away from me.

“Are you going to f**k me or should I just go home and use my vibrator instead?” I was never going to let her out of my sight again but the thought of her leaving my room unsatisfied was wrong in every imaginable way. “If I claim you there is no going back, we will belong to each other forever. So I am going to need you to tell me that this is what you want, that I am what you want.” I kissed her neck and ran the tip of my c**k along her core.

“I didn’t realise that you would need this much reassurance, it really is true what they say about the male ego.” She rolled her eyes at me before adding. “Of course I want you, it’s the only reason I agreed to come home with you.” This wasn’t quite how I had imagined claiming my mate to go, but I wasn’t going to complain. She had just agreed to be mine.
