I was still pretty new to the whole werewolf thing, and although I knew that marking your mate was a big step, I hadn’t realised the impact it would have on Ace. Ever since I marked him, he has had a huge smile on his face. Even his father calling us into his meeting for an urgent pre-trial meeting wasn’t enough to dampen his mood.
He had walked into his father’s office half an hour later, still wearing that smile along with a suit where the top two buttons of his shirt were undone.
