Chapter 23: The red bag

Daven's mood today was very bad. He doesn't know why, and he hates every second of his life. At lunchtime, Amir who was also in a bad mood sat at a table which had one of the nice views outside.

Daven who noticed this immediately got curious and went over to sit with him, even though he knew that Amir won't like it. "Can I sit? " pulling out the chair.

Amir had a grin on his face when he looked at Daven. "No, go away"

Daven sat anyway. wanting to know why Amir is different today. Since moming he's been acting different and didn't pick on him as he always do." You sad today, what's up? "

" I don't talk with kindergarten kids."

Daven wasn't gonna give up just like that Although he hates being picked on by this guy, he kinda miss it. "Well kindergarten kids are good listeners and advisors. What's going on " He paused for a moment and said, " Did you confess to Leticia and rejected you saying that little Davie is my type?" Daven was only joking and expected to see Amir angry.

Amir just looked at him and sighed. " I'm not in your mood today boy"

Daven turned serious and asked." Alright, let's talk man to man"

Amir laughed haughtily " Man to man? You're joking right? You're a small boy to be called a man."

Just as Daven was about to reply, that man who was flirting with Leticia enters. He looked at Amir and read his expression. He could see his anger rising and suddenly falls down with a long sad sigh.

Daven was stunned.' He only just got angry just for a second and then goes back to his sadness again. What's wrong with this guy today?'

Daven comes up with an idea and smirked "You are just going to watch him take away your future wife... Phff! I thought you're a man whom I could look up to. But clearly you're just a high school nerd whom is scared of everyone." He said sarcastically sinking back to his chair. "I never knew Azmir is such a mere chicken"

Amir wasn't planning on fighting with anyone today, but when he hears Daven's word he immediately went furious.

Seeing that he has succeeded, Daven continued. " He clearly doesn't see you at all. When he leaves, lets follow him and teach him a lesson. We still have a lot of time."

Amir thinks for a moment and agreed." Fine, but stay in your lane next time." He said giving him a cold look.

Daven smiled as his mood was lightened. ' I can't wait to watch a good show later. ' When Brod left, Amir and Daven quickly sneaked out and followed him with a car Keeping a wide distance from him, he takes the road which directed to the Old Town.

Daven frowned. ' What is he going to do here? ' Brod suddenly pulls over on the side which was also another car waiting.

Daven told Amir to pull over far away so that they could not be seen. When they both got out of Amir's car. Daven stopped to look at Amir. " Don't do anything yet, let's wait and see what's going on there."

Amir unwillingly agreed and hid in the bushes. From the other car, a woman got out wearing black clothes and a black scarf covering her face with sunglasses and had a small heart-shaped birthmark on her left hand.

Brod gives the woman a small red bag and drove away. The woman made a short phone call before leaving. Amir and Daven both looked at each other puzzled.

"Isn't that the same red bag boss was carrying yesterday?" Amir asked trying to figure out what is going.

"Yeah you're right. But what's inside?" Daven could feel something dodgy happening. "Let's go back before boss noticed that we are gone."

Lloyd gets a call from a number with no name on it. He frowned and answered. " Who's this?"

"Come on Lloyd, not even I miss you babe? What's wrong with you these days?"

Lloyd massages the bridge of his nose feeling annoyed when he recognises the voice. "What do you want Hailey?"

Hailey is Lloyd's girlfriend who was picked by his mother for him. Although she is good-looking, he has never had any interest in her. After he met Brittney, he began to dislike her more.

" Baby, I miss you can't I call you?"

"I'm at work what do you need?"

A giggle was heard from the other side before hearing her say, "I got a pleasant surprise for you which I know you would like very much. Just come early."

'Oh Lord, don't tell me that she is at my house. "Lloyd rolled his eyes and said. "I'm busy right now bye." he quickly drops the call.

After work, Lloyd who was so frustrated at the thought that he was going to see Hailey at his place today. He even forgot about going to see Brittney at lunch today.When got to his villa, he saw the exact woman he didn't want to see Hailey rushed to him and embraced him happily.

Lloyd who had his hands in his pocket just stared at her expressionlessly. " Aren't you supposed to be at work today?" he asked calmly.

Hailey wrapped her arms around Lloyd's neck intimately and kissed him on his chin.

" Well..." playfully moving her slender fingers on his body. "I realized that it's been a while since we saw each other and I missed you. I decided to take a day off to be..." She pecked his lips and started to unbutton his uniform shirt. " With my man who had been hungry for me."

Lloyd almost gave in but slightly pushed her away when he thinks of Brittney. This is what confuses him. When it comes to s****l intimacy with Hailey, he will always be lured into her world. But when it comes to loving her, his heart is always with Brittney. Maybe Hailey is just a bedmate to him.

" I've got some things to do right now." He went to his study and calls Troy whom he asked this morning to find out about Dave In his study. Troy who did his best handed him a file with about 15 different Daves. The first one was a guy named Dave who works at a hospital. Lloyd examines him,And finds nothing special that Brittney would like. The second one was a high schooler. He looks at Troy who was standing and asked, "What bullsh*t is this? Do you think Brittney would be interested in boys who still drink breast milk? "

Troy smiled sheepishly and looked away.

Lloyd went on to the third one which was Daven himself He only glanced at him for a second and went on to the next one. After looking at all of them and finds nothing, he sank back on his chair and ordered Troy with a lazy voice. "I'm giving you six days to find the one I'm looking for.

" Thank you boss." He turned around and left Hailey who was waiting at the door wearing a seductive smile. She Slowly walks over to Lloyd and sat on his lap.

" You look tensed, let me help you to ease it."

She swiftly unbuttons his shirt massaging his hard, strong chest that no woman could resist while kissing him with l**t.

Feeling her hands all over his chest with her soft lips on his turned him on in a way he couldn't resist. He lifted her up and went upstairs to his room.
