SHOCK NEWSJamie shuffled along the hospital floor, making her rounds of new patients in the ward. She picked up a clipboard and jotted down notes. Her mind was distracted by Angelo, who had shown his appreciation of her in the shower again. His face kept flashing in her mind, but she had to turn it off and focus on a new patient; a middle-aged woman with short wavy hair and a stocky build. “How are you feeling today, Ms Rodriguez? Any more abdominal pain?”
The lady shook her head. “No. I think I am ready to leave this place.”
She approached the woman and put on gloves. “Let me check your stomach. Do you mind?” The woman shook her head, and Jamie placed her hands over the woman’s stomach and checked her blood pressure. Looking further at the observations on record, she nodded
