ESCALATIONJamie pulled off her hospital lab coat with a yawn, her eyes drooping with fatigue. She hung the coat on a rack in her private locker and locked the door. Her mind turned to Angelo and the way her body had responded to his touch when they danced at Tim’s party. The images remained in her mind all day and in her dreams last night.
A voice caught her attention from behind. “Hey, Jamie. I thought you’d like to see this.” Diana brought her telephone close and handed it to her. “An article about your dad. Apparently, your friend Aiden was interviewed for the article. It’s pretty good, actually.
