Winter
As I hold Viggo in my arms, I stare out of my bedroom window. It’s afternoon, but it’s so dull outside. It’s gray and miserable. Nyx is coming for us, which is why the sky darkens by the hour. We don’t have much time, but I think we’re ready.
Many allies arrived yesterday. Uncle Thane ordered Alphas, their Betas, and their pack warriors to come here. Aunt Esme turned up with the Vampire King and dozens of his Vampires. Uncle Tristan and Brody brought Bears from their Kingdom, and we have Kelpies, Sirens, Serpents, and Demons. The King of Lions is also here, and he brought hundreds of big cats of all kinds from his Kingdom. The Dragon King and his people should be here tomorrow, and I pray they get here before Nyx does.
