39 I immediately went to my altar room and called the triad. They came to the palace at once to help Aroha. She was hesitant at first but Andrei managed to convince her to let them help her. They put her in a sleep state so they could look into her mind. After a couple of hours she stopped thrashing around and seemed to be sleeping peacefully. “Come Midnight. I need you to look into her mind and connect with her,” Jane says. “Okay. Just tell me what to do,” I say. “Place two fingers on each temple and repeat after me,” she says. We began chanting and I found myself surrounded by darkness.  “Aro,” I call. I didn’t get an answer. I began walking trying to feel around in the dark. If only I had a flashlight. One appeared in my hand. I point it around me and find that I’m in the woods.
