Tyler woke up in his room. He was looking around while lying on his bed, and saw his mom. She was looking at him with swollen eyes, "Mom, what happened? Why are you crying?" he asked, confused.
"How would I not? You came home covered with blood and you had a deep wound," Emma said, sobbing. Then Tyler remembered he got injured while protecting Eli.
