They were in the middle of the class when Eli smelled blood, she turned to Tom who was sitting behind her and whispered, ''Vampires?'' Eli asked, and Tom nodded.
''Eli, you are needed at the guidance office,'' said their teacher. Surprised, Eli still stood up and left the classroom, Tom secretly followed her when their teacher face the board.
''What are you doing? Go back inside!'' Eli whispered to Tom, ''I can't let you go alone, the vampire's scent was too strong!'' Tom answered.
''Alright, this is what we're going to do. I will go to the guidance office alone and you will look for the vampires that are lurking around, Ok?'' Eli told Tom.
''No! that's not ok, how can I just leave you?'' Tom complained. ''Don't worry about me, Tyler is here. He won't let anything bad happen to me.'
